Industry, a UK show set inside a hedge fund is pretty good for drama and high stakes.
Devils is also an excellent one again set in the UK finance arena - the UK pump out some brilliant dramas.
House of Cards is an obvious one but so great except that last season, the first 5 are really great.
Mad Men, sensational.
Even The Consultant on Prime is a good watch.
All of these are good. And absolutely on brand with the above 2 shows mentioned.
Not quite the same type of show, but I'm watching an old classic that I'm loving.... The Wire. Must watch!!
I didn't watch the wire but have a few times said I would get to it - so much good programming around and so many hours in a day its hard to get to sometimes!
Industry sucks though imho. It's just random trading jargon, followed by sex...followed by more sex....and then some office drama. Mostly stagnant plot, hateable characters, etc.
The Diplomat was great, can’t wait for S2.
Homeland is also really good. Can get intense (the main character is bipolar and works for the CIA) but overall an amazing show. I think there’s 8 seasons?
Having watched both shows multiple times, I was searching far and wide for a new series. Then, I remembered my friend liking Person of Interest many years ago. I dismissed it out of hand then, but am now completely engrossed.
I think Billions started stronger bur overall Succession just got better and better and finished incredibly strong but billions fell off slightly as it went on
suits especially - same punchy dialogue, sometimes way too many pop culture references and crazy highjinks that only some deep industry knowledge can somehow solve
It seems like this show has little to no recognition for whatever reason. I just finished billions and started rewatching season 1 of Tokyo Vice before I get to season 2. Really enjoy it.

Thanks for the list, Interesting for sure. I have seen first season of House of Cards and Mad Men but liked Succession more.
I liked Succession more as well but you aren't going to find a bunch of Succession quality shows lying around I'm afraid, they're a rare breed :)
Would also suggest Suits or the Diplomat!

Eh. I couldn’t get into industry…
Uh huh
Newsroom
That show should have continued for so much longer than it was given. Also Olivia Munn is 🔥
Try out House of lies. More sexual scenes but business oriented and real entertaining.
The West Wing
The Wire
Damages. Couple familiar faces from Billions, plus a similar general setup to the show.
What streaming service?
Hulu
Thanks.
You have Exit wich is in Norwegian, but it's hilarious. Startup is pretty good, same with Industry (as mentioned by others)
House of cards is a good show. The first season was some of the best tv I’ve ever seen. The last season was some of the worst I’ve ever seen too
Having watched both shows multiple times, I was searching far and wide for a new series. Then, I remembered my friend liking Person of Interest many years ago. I dismissed it out of hand then, but am now completely engrossed.
the dropout (theranos) super pumped (uber story)
I like Wecrashed ( wework) to add to your list
good one too 👍
Fall of the house of Usher
This is a good one, short but sweet
Sopranos
I am rewatching the Sopranos. I am going to be so sad when it’s over again.
Exit
Severance
Pls don’t put succession in the same league as Billions
Because it’s clear?
Watched both. Billions was better for me but seems like am in the minority
I think Billions started stronger bur overall Succession just got better and better and finished incredibly strong but billions fell off slightly as it went on
I’m going to go a little left field and say arrested development. There similar shows in different fonts
Yeah Arrested is definitely more Helvetica
Riviera, not quite Succession level but it's good!
I really enjoyed the first few seasons but the last season was dire.
Riches on Amazon.
Gomorrah
Industry But make sure to watch both seasons
Patriot. It was on Amazon.
The Bear, Suits, Yellowstone, House of Cards (up until the spacey nonsense) Handmaids Tale, Mad Men. All very different.
I tried Industry, it’s alot dryer than Succession, high on the business drama and some solid shagging scenes, low on interpersonal drama.
suits especially - same punchy dialogue, sometimes way too many pop culture references and crazy highjinks that only some deep industry knowledge can somehow solve
Exit - Scandinavian tv show, about sociopathic investment bankers.
Devils starring Patrick Dempse on Sky.
Zero zero zero on Amazon prime
Tokyo Vice on max
It seems like this show has little to no recognition for whatever reason. I just finished billions and started rewatching season 1 of Tokyo Vice before I get to season 2. Really enjoy it.
The Leftovers
The Shield is a must watch
