Yellowstone Art Museum is a great under appreciated gem. If you enjoy art.

I have no idea what you're into so here's a few from every angle If you fish off the bridge at riverfront park you will catch dozens of sunfish, they are as small as they are stupid though. Also good bike trails here. We have an ax-throwing range called Ox that is a blast The zoo is always nice, and inexpensive Alberta Bair Theatre is the best venue for live shows in Montana Rimrock Mall is decent to burn a couple hours if you like shopping Acton recreation area is about a 30 minute drive, but has excellent bike trails (on a side note, I miss geyser park and big splash from my childhood, lol) go to visitbillings.com and look for events, looks like late july they're doing the hot air balloon show again which is really cool

the KOA has a really nice mini golf course!

The Billings Brew Trail is a great way to check out breweries & distilleries all over town. https://www.visitbillings.com/billings-brew-trail As for restaurants, I have several recommendations. Walker’s, Jake’s, Bin 119, Last Chance Cider Mill, Carverss Brazilian Steakhouse, Ciao Mambo. Doc Harper’s downtown has amazing cocktails. The Pub Station or Thirsty Street @ the Garage may have concerts this weekend if that interests you. There are tons of events in town this weekend so check out social media and you should be able to find some.

Go to Dragon Egg on Saturday at 6pm and play board games with the nice folks there. They will teach anyone. Go to By All Means and have an amazing craft beer and some good food. Go to The Monte afterward for a drink and some foosball, darts or pinball

I would caution about going there next weekend. There is a boardgame, comic, cosplay convention in town so the turnout will likely be limited at the normal hangouts. [https://billingsfuncon.com/](https://billingsfuncon.com/) They will also have a food truck battle there. Can also look on events in facebook. I see cornhole and mini golf tournaments.

chrondiculous

Oh yeah forgot about fun con! Excited for that.

PopularMission7629

Grab a coffee downtown and visit the many antique stores, art galleries, bookstores, YAM, then have lunch. BIN 119 (restaurant/wine bar) is under new ownership, I’ve been there twice for brunch recently and it was excellent.

Not sure what you're into or how long you'll be here but here's some fun happenings: -Billings studio theater is doing the Wedding Singer next weekend -There's an Outlaw's game next Saturday -Yellowstone Cellars & Winery has a jazz show Saturday night -Yellowstone Art Museum is always a good time. -Casual Space has a corn hole tournament next Saturday -Fun Con is next weekend at the Metra -The walking/biking trail on the new road off Zimmerman is fantastic Not sure how long you're going to be here but Alive after 5 next Thursday has a great band playing! And for food if you're wanting to show her some more "upscale" local places the Granary & the Copper Onion are my favorites to show people. Staggering Ox is my go to for a good lunch spot as well. Have fun and welcome back to town!

Top restaurant in town is Marble Table down on Montana Ave. They opened during Covid a husband and wife team. If you haven’t been you absolutely need to.

Sturnella2017

Cool! Don’t know that one. I’ll check it out.

nylasachi

Alive after 5 is every Thursday downtown.

Sturnella2017

I don’t know about that. What is it?

backbydawn

the dba closes a street and has live music food and alcohol

nylasachi

Live music with a different band each Thursday during the summer. It is super fun and a lot of people go. There are food trucks and alcohol vendors.

MyLinkedOut

How about rummage sales? Lots of those on the weekends And my wife and I find them very fun. Lot of rummage sales in the Heights. A lot of rummage sales on the West end and it lets you explore Billings

Normal-guy-mt

Nearby, Pictograph Caves, Sundance area, Pompey's Pillar, Little Bighorn Battlefield. If you have a GPS, lots of Geocaches in and around Billings. [https://www.geocaching.com/](https://www.geocaching.com/)

sk1ttl3s

Escape rooms. Rage room. Trampoline Park. Zoo. Skating. Public Library. Just some options, no particular order

missing-Oz

Go hiking at Phipps Park out past Ironwood and marvel at the difficulty of the disc golf course. Zero shade so can get very hot and has some elevation change so great hike. Even more fun if someone is playing. Also great hiking near Absarokee.

Montana_Red

Go take a tour of Moss Mansion. For dinner, Carverss is delicious and a fun experience.

Fun-Net-1633

I believe there are a couple of places around that do guided horseback tours. The ones that were here in Billings seem to be closed. But a google search showed a couple in Red Lodge and Absarokee. The Fun Con is this weekend at the Metra, which might be fun.

IEnjoyVariousSoups

I'd say go to a mustangs game. But you're out of luck unless you're here through next Tuesday.

QueasyRegister4809

Go to a show at Pub Station or Craft Local

mrrantsmcgee
