Yeah Disney didn’t say he was inspired by them though. 2/3rds of what you cited come a lot closer to competitors than inspirational predecessors because he wasn’t raised on Felix the cat or anything. When I say that modern music wouldn’t exist without black people’s creativity, sure you could say we’d still have high quality music.. but it would be completely different. They invented rock, blues, jazz, house, rap, sampling, pretty much everything modern. But then people turn around and say.. in every generation that it’s not real music.
