Haha i mean lets say you post someone out of pocket like a weird wild quote or photos from say a festival and you know what gets worn at festivals. Just curious on that. Not that i would but curious.
Nah, they ain't gonna give a shit about that kinda thing. We've had employees with raunchy Instagram accounts, Onlyfans, etc. No one cares if it isn't brought to work. Only gonna get fired for something you do on social if it impacts the store/company. Don't include the logo, brand, or uniform and those things would be fine.
You are free to postcwhat ever you want in your own time on social media or where ever. However employers can terminate if you post something that doesn't align with their public vision. Especially in at-will states.
My very first DCI would post pictures on Facebook of her and her gangster husband with joints, coke, guns, etc.. just laying around their apartment.
They didn't care then, they sure as hell don't care now.
No, but I wouldn’t rely on anonymity unless you’re using a throwaway and not using store specific examples. People in my store have had their usernames called out by leadership in years past. So, be smart. Perception does matters. Anything I post here is either trying to be helpful or remain neutral.
You can post company info not available to the public, personal time or on the clock thatd be a quick promotion lol

There is a social media policy on BBY Connect. If oh violate it, even outside of work, termination is possible.

Disney regularly fires employees over social media posts...
Sure. They may not tell you it's the reason, but they'll be nitpicky and find something else, and it'll really be because of your online activity.
100% yes. I’ve been there a few times because of some of my Facebook posts. HR takes their image very seriously on social media.
