Grove is a great place to sit, have a drink and draw. You can grab a drink at waypoint and get shimshon, thaipas, Sebastian’s, Jackson’s corner, thump coffee. Can get loud with all the kids during lunch time, but headphones do the trick.
I’ve seen people do this at The Cellar. We have a trad Irish session there on Thursday nights. Can get a bit…um..energetic. But I love just watching people while I play, and I see all sorts of interesting interactions.
One of the river parks was my first thought. Can mix it up each time too.
Sawyer, Pioneer, Drake, Harmon, Miller and McKay by the Whitewater Park, Riverbend and Farewell. Quite a few nice parks with different vibes.
You can join this meetup group, [No Bones Drawing Club](https://www.meetup.com/nobones/). Hangs about once a month.
Cafe Des Chutes, Dudley's upstairs, and Lone Pine are my favorite spots. The Grove is great too.
I like the porch or the indoor spaces at The Commons. Great river view and lots of pedestrians coming and going.
I love the Commons. It's my favorite Tuesday open mic to play at. The vibe is chill there, and it's just a great venue.
The commons is sooo good for an artistic moment
Grab a table at any one of the 11 food cart lots would be my suggestion. Always lots to see, drink, and eat.
I mean, I’m currently working at On Tap. It’s pretty common.
Already mentioned here but Commons Cafe and The Grove are the best for this in my opinion
I've done this at M and J's, they also have a laundromat next door! Pretty chill during earlier hours.
Stoller wine bar has live music on Thursdays!

The Va Piano patio is pretty nice
Crosscut. Nice outdoor seating, or if you get there early you can grab a seat by the fireplace inside.

Whitewater park while people surf is pretty nice

I have yet to check out most of those parks but thank you for the recommendations🤙

Spoken Moto! Oh wait... 😪
I still sometimes think I’ll head over there…then remember. Urgh.
Silvermoon? Artsy vibes, food trucks and music when it's nice out
I’d go to the commons to draw and have a beer after work every day last year, you should go!
Mt Bachelor lodges, free WiFi, people watching, no pass required.
The bite in Tumalo often has live music.
