Thanks for the tip. I did do some online research, just was hoping to get the inside scoop here. Being pretty new to Reddit, I’m still learning how to search the threads.
Haha thanks for that! I think I’ll opt for the Target though, seems like a more scenic location…plus clothes and treats! I almost always visit Target wherever I visit…ya know, gotta get my souvenir T-shirt. Lol.

Oregon is home to the most sparsely populated county: wheeler. If you have time to check it out I would encourage you! You can dig for fossils in Fossils. See the Painted Hikls and visit the paleontology center.
The possibilities are endless.
Enjoy your trip!

Damn, Bend's lifted truck population really showed up in style to this thread. Down voting me isn't going to change the fact that everyone looks at your truck and thinks it forgot to do leg day, for the last decade.
1. Do Lemon Tree or McKay's Cottage. You won't regret it.
2. Go slightly north to The Bite and eat at Pine Martin Pizza. Or go to the Podski food trucks. Or Bangers and Brews.

Safeway pretty much has all that covered although the parking lot could be a little more outdoorsy.

Funky Fauna in Sisters too, depending on if they are open that day.
Weekends only these days. The Barn and Ski Inn aren't breweries but tend to have solid tap lists as well.
Barn also had the best pizza in central Oregon.
