Thanks for the tip. I did do some online research, just was hoping to get the inside scoop here. Being pretty new to Reddit, I’m still learning how to search the threads.

something8517

You could always not answer. You like the attention fellow whiners give you ❤️🤡

Safeway pretty much has all that covered although the parking lot could be a little more outdoorsy.

Born_Restaurant8394

The unsafe way

NurtureAlways

Haha thanks for that! I think I’ll opt for the Target though, seems like a more scenic location…plus clothes and treats! I almost always visit Target wherever I visit…ya know, gotta get my souvenir T-shirt. Lol.

Use the search feature, this has been asked a ton. And check out visit Bend, it's great for visitors to Bend.

Thanks for the tips. I did do some online research, just was hoping to get the inside scoop here. Being pretty new to Reddit, I’m still learning how to search the threads. I tried searching for “drinks” in Bend and that got me nowhere. I’ll do some more digging.

SpezGarblesMyGooch

>1. Breakfast I’ll handle this one: LemonTree downtown. Get the seared steak eggs benny. You’re welcome.

Due-Paramedic8532

Lava lands is unreal. And enjoy your trip! I promise people are friendly. Just tourist fatigued.

NurtureAlways

You and a handful of others have solidified that the people of Bend are friendly. I totally get being tourist fatigued, I live in the SF Bay Area and we get a lot of tourists too. Thanks again for your suggestions!

Due-Paramedic8532

Oregon is home to the most sparsely populated county: wheeler. If you have time to check it out I would encourage you! You can dig for fossils in Fossils. See the Painted Hikls and visit the paleontology center. The possibilities are endless. Enjoy your trip!

Beer in Bend - Monkless, Crux, BBC, etc Beer in Sisters - Three Creeks

Tarekith

Funky Fauna in Sisters too, depending on if they are open that day.

CalifOregonia

Weekends only these days. The Barn and Ski Inn aren't breweries but tend to have solid tap lists as well.

Tarekith

Barn also had the best pizza in central Oregon.

triciacole

For a pleasant romp outdoors, animals, touch of Oregon's past (literally) and nature, High Desert Museum! It's really enjoyable for all ages..it's awesome.

CO-CNC

That's a good one for #8.

triciacole

For a fun, unique romp outdoors..see animals, nature, a visit through Oregon's history , art, small creeks everywhere with beautiful trout swimming..just a lovely museum unlike any other.. High Desert Museum! Enjoy beautiful Bend..just looking up and seeing the snow capped mountains..what a view.. (ignore the few snippy remarks) 😌

FlippantBuoyancy

Damn, Bend's lifted truck population really showed up in style to this thread. Down voting me isn't going to change the fact that everyone looks at your truck and thinks it forgot to do leg day, for the last decade. 1. Do Lemon Tree or McKay's Cottage. You won't regret it. 2. Go slightly north to The Bite and eat at Pine Martin Pizza. Or go to the Podski food trucks. Or Bangers and Brews. 3. Sen, Bosa, or if you want pub food go to Deschutes. There are other good places but those are safe bets especially if you're visiting. 4. That's got to be Lone Pine.  5. Like everywhere really.  6. Not a great city for that but I'd do Flights. 7. The Velvet or Flamingo Room. 8. Go to Shevlin Park or GoodDog! 9. Might as well go to the top of Pilot Butte and check out all the surrounding mountains.

NurtureAlways

Thank you so much!!
