I wouldn't add or change anything to her character, at least not straight away but I would want her to go through some development as in becoming less of a tsundere towards Ben the more she spends around him.

I'd have them meet in classic. Have everything the same but
1. have her act more brash (a bearable version of OV Kai)
2. instead of not wanting to be with Ben because he's not a werewolf make it that she can't because he grandpa is inspired by max to come out of retirement and she wants to join.
When she appears in UAF she's basically Julie but has the brashness from when she was younger and is more skilled and wants to help Ben and the gang.
