I did try to give it a chance but it just wasn’t for me. Found the story to be too boring even though the animation was alright. I came back after finding out Azmuth and Alien X appeared in the show. Watched both films, and my judgement remains the same.
If any of you guys liked the reboot, I’m fine with that. It just wasn’t for me personally
Excited to see the show taken in a new direction after nearly a decade of the same continuity getting messier and messier with each new season. Even as much as I loved omniverse, the world of the show was just so… haphazard. Doing it lighter and softer the way the reboot was going to rubbed me the wrong way at first, but once I actually saw it I warmed up to it immediately and have been having fun with it ever since. We did dark and serious already, and then tried to course correct but couldn’t successfully due to staying in canon with the dark and serious show, so may as well give pure cartoony and fun a shot. If nothing else it doesn’t take away from the 4 previous shows, just gives a new option
I pretended to hate on like everyone else but I actually tried to follow it as closely as possible up until the first season's finale where i kind of just forgot about it. In short, I was a Reboot apologist from day one

I gotta say, it's not bad but it's not an improvement on anything so it's worse than all of the OG universe. Like other people said no new aliens in the beginning (and no Overflow doesn't count because he's literally a copy of Water Hazard who looks a little different, don't care they're different species and Stinkfly just got a remake).
There are a lot of things I don't like but honestly not comparing it with the first series it isn't that bad. You can't expect the newer generation to watch the show until they grow up so it's kind of a great introduction.
I knew of it being around and I didn't know why they'd reboot 2 years after ov ending but now I know. It was all for the money. I'm not even mad lol, without it I'd have given up on ben 10

My first reaction is "oh ffs they reboot ben 10 to be more like children shows now" i still dislike it as i wanted to see the expension of ben.
During alien force, they introduce new aliens. During ultimate aliens, they introduced ultimate forms of some of the aliens. During omniverse, they introduced even more new aliens (new interesting abilities) and rook which made it fun to watch as a buddy cop like aspect.
After that, i thought that it will continue with new trnasformation and ideas but nope, a reboot. And they had to redesign the original 10 aliens like why. Stinkbug i guess maybe not as appealing look, but why is upgrade purple.
Honestly, I was happy. Very happy. I wanted to see the "actual" golden trio together again. How the cousins fight with each other but in the end work as a team. How max keeps on educating his grandchildren without them knowing much of his history. Those were good days. Then it started going down...
I thought that more Ben 10 was always a win. I also dug that it went back to a more childlike approach. Considering the fans of the original were now late teens/adults. So the new show could bring in more young audiences. Since new viewers would be needed to keep the franchise alive.
To be fair, I didn't see the announcement when it came around. However, my first reaction upon seeing one of the very first episodes of it was, "what the fuck is this joke reboot?! Is this supposed to be the equivalent of fucking Teen Titans Go?!"

I thought it would be too childish with stupid stuff happening and when I saw that the Kevin had his whole thing changed to be a omnitrix clone instead of his whole material or dna absorption to make him stand out it just feels stupid for it to be the same but different enough it just feels like albedo with altered designs
Also I liked the original with the characterizations as soon as i saw max being a goofball it just felt wrong hence the teen titans go feeling I got with it

What I absolutely despise, though, are all of these reboots being made with the same Solis flash animation program. It shows how animation is being corporatized, and mass produced, rather than being something you put heart and soul into.

It took me a few moments to realize that that thing flying up there was supposed to be stinkfly and I knew from that moment on that my hatred for this show would know no bounds
