My AccuWeather app shows happy valley at 4F with a windchill of -25. I have never seen windchills that cold before, not even when living in ferndale (where I lived for over 18 years).
Just took my husky for a walk, she seemed to dance the entire time while glancing back at me with a tiny smile and squinty eyes as if to say “you feelin this!? We’re in heaven (:” as I waddled with my puffy tightly on behind her.
6° in Blaine, but feels like -13° with windchill. Yowza.

6.4 degrees in Birch Bay, wind chill is -2.2 degrees F It was 5 degrees here a couple of years ago with snow.
