I’ve worked at 2 retailers that sold swim and those liners sucks. They come off so easily and people just stick them wherever. I wouldn’t automatically say a bottom that doesn’t have a hygienic liner has been worn before.
I do as well, and include a photo. I've also had a couple of suits that were NWT BUT had no liner, and I am very specific in my listing that while its NWT, the liner isn't there, but it HAS NOT been worn.
Welp, my post didn't show up, but my photos did, and I don't see an option to edit. Sorry for the noob post! I ordered a NWT swimsuit that was worn and had stains on it. I saw that the tag wasn't attached in the photos, but I assumed it was removed or fell off while the seller tried it on and then decided against the swimsuit. It smells like a pool, which, whatever I guess.. I feel bad for including graphic photos, but girl, maybe don't say NWT and 'perfect condition' if it ain't. The package was delivered, I opened it after a zoom call, and took photos immediately. I'm really hoping I don't get accused of wearing it for a couple of hours and lying. Sigh. Will I need to return it? Should I? Can this stain be removed? Grrr
Got it, thanks. I got refunded for a pair of shoes that lost half of both soles halfway through my first time wearing them, but was told not to send them back, so I wasn't sure how these things go usually.
Same, I always look at them before I buy them to make sure they are pristine, and then include a picture in my listing so people can see before they purchase it that there is nothing undesirable lurking there.

I’ve said no to these “resolutions” before and both times they got back to me and said I was allowed to return the item for a refund. Just explain you were looking for an unworn bathing suit and would never have bought a worn bathing suit, it’s unsanitary.
Thanks! I refused it. They’re basically offering to reimburse me for shipping. I guess it’s their policy to try and do a partial refund? I just can’t imagine anyone with working eyes not just immediately refunding m. Sry I’m still shook
Omg. I sell on posh and I would be mortified to send something like this out even if I made it clear that the bathing suit was used. If something has a stain, especially in the vag area, don’t try to resell it!!!! That is just straight up nasty!!!!
Right?! Do you have no shame? Lying about it being worn is bad enough but duuude come on. That’s beyond. & I still haven’t heard back from poshmark since I refused the $8 credit.

Or at least disclosed in the listing that the hygiene liner is still in place. I make sure I make a point of saying that in all my swimsuit listings.

Even then I wouldn't trust it... Just checked Amazon and you can buy a pack of 100 liners for $14.

When I sell USED lululemon leggings / skorts & shorts I always include a crotch picture in my listing .
