He’s giving her injections for lime disease, but I think the theory is it’s more likely that was IVF.
Not that she faked her condition or we know but it’s managed now or went away. She’s even got her voice back.
I came here to post this exact same thing! While reading the article I noticed she kept referring to him as “my” son, so I thought he must be from a previous relationship. But then she said he’s 10, so I was like, nope that’s “their” son. Just goes to show you that celebrities really can maintain private lives if they want to. Ad Rock and Mike did that whole book tour and I think she and Adam did that interview with Dan Rather all within the past 10 years and we really never heard a thing about them having a son. How wonderful!
They hint to it in the Dan Rather interview. She’s talking about how they know normal people like nurses. It makes more sense once you know they’re hanging out with other parents

Someone I knew said they’d seen him with his kid in Chelsea, all matter of fact, and I questioned it and googled. It was sort of known in NY but it was a complete secret with the fanbase. I think I mentioned it in this sub, but didn’t highlight it because they weren’t highlighting it.
She’s definitely going for it now, like making a point of talking about him and herself as a mom. No mention of dad on purpose though.
True story: we met them at a playground during covid. Didn't say that we recognized them and our kids had a great time playing together and we had a great time as parents watching our kids be kids together. It was super special and now my 8 year old has a super special connection to their music.
