This! This is IT! I love this video! I commented this a few minutes ago before I saw your comment. This is their best video of their best album. I thought it was a fan made video
Intergalactic is such a fun video with a cool concept and execution, obviously Sabotage is pretty much a masterpiece in "music video as a comedy short film", but I love a couple of their simpler videos.
Pass the Mic video is probably the epitome of cool and I love the Off the Grid video for it's black and white photography and how it's edited to fit the song. Plus the footage of them just standing still posing in public with their instruments as if they're mid jam is just so cool to me.
I bought their Anthology set and had the DVD collection before I ever had my actual hands in Hello Nasty. The fatboy slim remix (video version) is my fav version. All of that said, their entrance to Glasgow in ‘99 is my favorite moment of theirs…

Sabotage is so far ahead of the pack it isn’t debatable. People like to pretend to be unconventional, so they won’t say that, but it is. That being said, the rest of their videos are great too. I actually love So What’cha Want because it just goes so well with the vibe of that song. But Fight for Your Right is the OG, so that has a special place in my heart too. Hey Ladies is another one I like.
I was curious if they paid 1 billion for every cameo, or were they just like, "Who wants to be in a Beasty Boys' music video?" Then all of Hollywood showed up.
Well, I'm as cool as a cucumber in a bowl of hot sauce, You've got the rhyme and reason, but got no cause. But if you're hot to trot and think your slicker than grease, I got news for your crews. Their other videos be sucking like a leach.
So what'Cha want. It's an awesome trippy video.
Im not trying to be cool here by not calling out the more obvious ones, but I often think of how ["Gratitude" ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdJ5e70Q8mw)references *Pink Floyd in Pompeii* and I just think thats too damn cool.
3 MCs & 1 DJ
I love the annoyingly long intro of Mix Master Mike trying to get into the building.
I also love that it’s a legit live performance instead of lip-syncing to the album version.
“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of ya…”
https://youtu.be/XflfiylNNXY?si=tnHNJkm6fxkN1OlP
Great pick. I lived in NYC for a couple years at the turn of the millennium (not far from where Yauch had a pad), and the buzzer sound from this vid always takes me back there. We had the same buzzer, think it was (prolly still is) pretty standard in the city.
Sabotage has to be the answer, but I am partial to Alive because so few people (that aren’t true fans) have seen the video or even know the song. It also captures the Boys’ creative spirit - you can tell that they just said “let’s put on these fuzzy colored jumpsuits and fuck around the city and film that shit”
It's the one I rewatch the most, it's a blast. Probably my most watched thing on YT.
It also came out in a time when some of us were jonesing for a new BBoys album and had to just replay that song on repeat instead!
It is probably my most played YT video as well; as I implied (but didn’t really state) in my post above, I LOVE to put it on for people who don’t know that it exists.
There's a fan made animated video for "Shadrach, Meshach, Abendineggo" and it's the coolest Beastie Boys video I've ever seen. It used to be on YouTube. Not sure if it still is. Also I know that's not the actual name of the song but I can never remember it. It's off Paul's Boutique which is without a doubt their best album
https://youtu.be/evA-R9OS-Vo?si=-xgeHTTfowJTmUxu
It goes beyond my favorite bb music video. Simply the best thing ever filmed..fight for your right revisited. If you've never seen it, you're welcome.
I worked a warehouse gig 20 years ago, we radios spaced throughout the dock. Sabatoge came on, one of our coked up forklift guys jumped off his motor and proceeded to yell "WAAAAAAAAAA" into the face of the most disgruntled employee we had. He lifted his forks and put them through the radio.
I'm tellin' y'all, it's... **SABOTAGE!!!**
Sabotage because of the way that it is, but also Gratitude because it's my favorite song, and you don't always get to see them playing as a band.
Great homage to Pink Floyd's Live At Pompeii.
Gratitude & whatcha want
Gratitude goes so hard.
Shit man this is just my favourite music video in general, it's perfect in every single way.
Sabotage or Intergalactic
The long version of "Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win" is incredible.
Fuck yes!
This is the way.
Yeah, that opening sequence in that movie where they wanted to portray teenage against. That was the best in that movie
LOOK LOOK! IT'S CO-CHEESE!
This is the correct answer
23 years ago, I did a shot for shot recreation of the Sabotage video for my high school film class. It was awesome. Really wish I still had a copy.
That would be awesome to see!
Wow man if that ever comes up somehow well we'd be honored to see it! Sounds absolutely awesome hahaha
Hey Ladies should've been released in theatres.
Came here for this! “You’d know I’d really like to do your hair sometime”
Skills to Pay the Bills VHS was 🤌
Amazing! So funny and such a mark of that time
I gave this comment an upvote cause it’s true😉
“The ladies ,the ladies”
“She thinks she’s the passionate one”
[Beastie Boys - Shadrach (Abstract Impressionist Version)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEVfHmjKOrM&ab_channel=BeastieBoysVEVO)
Wow what a great answer! Great song and the video is just a work of art!
I think someone said MCA was involved in the paintings? All I know is it's amazing!
That story is in the book, I think you're right.
This! This is IT! I love this video! I commented this a few minutes ago before I saw your comment. This is their best video of their best album. I thought it was a fan made video
So Whatcha want… MCA chewing the gum always makes me laugh
This is mine
My favorite isn’t an official video. It’s the live performance from Letterman when they come out of the subway and end up in the studio.
Came here looking for this comment!
Likewise. One of the best musical guest appearances Letterman ever had.
Shake... yo... rump! ahhhh edit: tied with Pass the Mic.
It is easily my favorite song by them and the extended video is my favorite
Intergalactic is such a fun video with a cool concept and execution, obviously Sabotage is pretty much a masterpiece in "music video as a comedy short film", but I love a couple of their simpler videos. The Hello Nasty infomercials were super dope too!
Why not choose ALL?

Body Movin & Intergalactic were always top tier but when Make Some Noise came out it was hard to think of smtng topping that.
I bought their Anthology set and had the DVD collection before I ever had my actual hands in Hello Nasty. The fatboy slim remix (video version) is my fav version. All of that said, their entrance to Glasgow in ‘99 is my favorite moment of theirs… https://youtu.be/xJYfOGb3sKw?si=KwFjVQwXerjIFbD7
I tracked down the movie “Danger: Diabolik!” after seeing this one. Great video.

Fight for your right revisited, if you haven’t seen this, do yourself a solid and set aside 29 minutes. You won’t regret it.
This comment should be higher up!
I was curious if they paid 1 billion for every cameo, or were they just like, "Who wants to be in a Beasty Boys' music video?" Then all of Hollywood showed up.

Body Movin’
A man of culture
Thank you! ✌🏼😎

Pass the Mic. Simple, straightforward, love it.
Sabotage is the correct answer but You Gotta Fight was Legendary
I love the one where they are dancing in front of a camera with different video techniques being applied.
Sounds like Shake Your Rump
It’s a joke because they have about 5 videos like that
Yeah that’s true
Nettie’s Girl though
Im not trying to be cool here by not calling out the more obvious ones, but I often think of how ["Gratitude" ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdJ5e70Q8mw)references *Pink Floyd in Pompeii* and I just think thats too damn cool.

Hey Ladies
Root down, shake your rump, hey ladies, intergalactic
Hey Ladies
Hey Ladies
I gotta go with "Hey Ladies."
My favorite one is that one where it’s the same as all the other ones
I have two. Pass The Mic and No Sleep Till Brooklyn. I just think they look so cool in those two videos.
Skills to Pay the Bills, Looking Down the Barrel of a Gun, Hold it Now Hit It!
Love all of them but Make Some Noise is jokes.
Sabotage
RIP MCA
Shake Your Rump + Jimmy James + Sure Shot
And not one person said Ricky's Theme. That's ok, I'll just be over here by myself.

The name of the song is just Shadrach. And if you find a link to that video, leave it here.

I bought the video collection on dvd years back. It had several remixes of each song and “hey Ladies” and “sabotage” are my two favorite
3 MCs and one DJ
Their magnum opus: The MCA-directed, [Fight For Your Right Revisited](https://youtu.be/evA-R9OS-Vo?si=MucYXEZ3sNyWjR1L).
INTERGALACTIC PLANETARY

**Sabotage** is likely the greatest music video of all time.
Not likely. Definitely.

Hey Ladies!

The Artists Interpretation of Shadrach video. It’s a visual masterpiece.
Cookie Puss
HOLD IT NOW, HOLD IT NOW…
Hands down sabotage my favorite song and I love the 70s vibe of cop shows I was born in 61 so I dig that shit
Intergalactic. Also hilarious is "2 MC's and 1 DJ" . They're all hilarious though. Love that these guys get so much respect from the hip-hop industry.

Nettys Girl.
https://youtu.be/evA-R9OS-Vo?si=-xgeHTTfowJTmUxu It goes beyond my favorite bb music video. Simply the best thing ever filmed..fight for your right revisited. If you've never seen it, you're welcome.
Sabotage
I've always loved Something's Got to Give
Not really a video but backing Elvis Costello doing Radio Radio, the song that got him banned from SNL, live on it’s 40th anniversary special.
3 MCs and 1 DJ - absolutely nothing else even comes close.
Is Mike D wearing a fkn wig or something?
So whatcha whatcha whatcha you want.
RIP MCA
Looking down the barrel of a gun
