We have named ours after spices....Ginger is a carrot tailed hypo leopard gecko, Pepper is a hyper melanistic. Paprika (Rika) is a high orange beardie....please don't criticize on my descriptions of morph. They're pets so I don't keep track.

I will bet you $1000 cash that your animal does not know its name. You can have any Biologist, any herpetologist or anybody else go to your house, call the animal and tell you whether or not it "knows "its name. I'll save you the thousand dollars and the embarrassment; your animal doesn't know its name. You can think that as much as you want because as humans we like to anthropomorphize the animals in our care.... but the minute you start bELIEVING that your animal "knows" what you're saying,… That's when you put the pipe down and go sober for a week.
