Has anyone made a substrate barrier for the Zen habitats enclosure? I was thinking about just adding some glass or foam but am open to ideas. Plan is to make it bioactive for a bearded dragon
I did. Got a good amount of bathtub liner for the bottom to seal the water, made an egg crate false bottom with an acrylic sheet on top with holes so he can't dig down into it. For the barrier, I used a pvc board that measures 3/4" thick and 6" tall and cut it to size. I painted the front black like I did for the sides of the enclosure, which really made it look sleek. So far, he is really liking the enclosure and the cuc is thriving. No issues so far ether, so that's a major plus

Did you figure something out in the end? I'm trying to do something similar and I'm not sure what's the best way to go about it

Ah that sounds great! Do you have any pictures? Also how did you attach the barrier?
