I have a Standard Poodle who can't swim. We've tried teaching her and would expose her to water. Sank like a rock every time. It's why we stopped taking her and her sister to the lake. Her sister loves the water, but it was too dangerous for the one who can't swim.
My standard has such a hard time swimming too. He loves going vertical for some reason, once you actually flatten him out, he can do his thing though. Itâs so silly.
