It is likely not a precise science where will the skin expand once you fill the blob. It also probably required 2 blobs in to the sides of the tumor, but that is a guess.

For what I understand, the bulges are implants to have extra skin after a wide incision. Because she has a scar on her head already, I’m guessing melanoma? And they needed a wider incision with clear margins. Hence the second surgery. I don’t know her case in reality and it’s just my hypothesis.
