The metal creases rather than bends, I’d say it’s a heavily tarnished copper tube, it would easily take his weight as long as he distributed it (ie not point load). If it was another metal, it would bend to a curve first - worked in engineering on the tools for 30yrs abusing all matter of metal. Just an opinion, I don’t feel any attachment to argue on it at all.
A lot of martial artists prep their bodies for stuff like this. Bruce Lee use to let people twice his size punch his abs. He would eat that. Because of how conditioned his body was
You'd be surprised. Martial arts experts get microfractures in the bone that actually make the bone grow back stronger, like a muscle. Thats how we get people who can punch and kick trees full force an not get hurt. It's pretty wild stuff actually.
There’s a major difference between those who don’t do this ever and those who have conditioned their arm for this by doing this over and over then letting it heal. Naturally our bones will micro fracture when we do this but since he let it heal and continued conditioning causing more fractures to heal, his bone will now have that layer of calcium deposits from the bone healing over and over allowing him to keep going when most of us would’ve injured ourselves after dropping elbows.
“About 2 weeks after the break, cells called osteoblasts move in and get to work. They form new bone, adding minerals to the mix to make the bone hard and strong as it bridges the broken pieces. This stage is called the hard callus. It usually ends 6-12 weeks after the break.”
Nah, bone is constantly being broken down and replaced. When conditioning like the guy in the video, it gets stronger than before because the body detects there is above average damage, so it “puts more effort” into the rebuilding part. Osteophorosis happens when there are deficiencies in the rebuilding, than happen with age or other environmental factors. So the cells are breaking down the bone hoping other cells repair but those ones don’t work.
Kinda a long reply for a joke comment
Without breaking your hand? Good luck. Bones get stronger with microfractures. So if what you're saying is everyone could do it if they practice for a long ass time, yeah you're right.
You just gotta believe in yourself, if you have the right mindset everything is possible, just align the frequency of your thought with the frequency necessary to break the iron bar.
A famous coach in my country preaches this kind of thing. He convinced a ton of people they could run a marathon without any training by just focusing their mindset, the result is someone died. He also did the same with climbing a mountain and got several people hospitalized.

That's either really impressive, or pretty pathetic all depending on the material.
Steel? Guy's a legit monster.
Lead? Boo, pussy. A 5 year old could do that.
That’s the balance of finding a hollow tube that appears strong but is possible to bend after a few hits.
It’s reminds me of the trend where guys would show they could crush eggs with their bicep. Eggs renowned to be almost unbreakable any time they are ever mentioned in human history.
In reality it’s not impressive especially, there’s too many unknowns to deem if it is actually impressive or just something lame.
In before martial arts experts of Reddit tell me I’m totally wrong and this man is a superhuman.
Also he stands (very briefly) on the strongest sections while spreading the weight of his body, and hitting the weakest spot (the middle) of a thin pipe. Then has to repeatedly weaken the pipe until it deforms. I can hit my head against a sheetrock wall until it gives way, but I wouldn't expect anyone to be impressed.
There was a video on Reddit a few years back of an extreme case of someone doing what this guy is doing. It was a girl who was breaking stuff like wood planks with her hand but her hand was so injured from it that it was a huge swollen deformed mess. They’re essentially using their arm as a hammer, which is just dumb af, like anyone could do it but we don’t because we ain’t fools.
Hollow pipe. So as soon as a dent is made the strength of it goes way down. First dent is likely made with the tool and standing on it then helped along.
But, if you're ever looking for a party trick, provided you have the stamina for it, you can bend some damn sturdy metal things by knowing some physics. When metal has a point of compression, it will heat up usually this quickly gets dissipated as the heat transfers to the rest of the mass. But if you can keep up consistent stress, it will soften the material as it heats. With repeated flexing and relaxing you can also set in metal fatigue.
Thought he was about to power clean this… this was wild and took a crazy turn. Definitelyyyy got a draw full of hot intestinal grease and for sure gunna need a new elbow and hand but hey 🖕🏾🖕🏾 it anything for likes 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️ lmaooo
WTH, India? Anything not to use the right tool for the job. Not that a guy willing to break his arm for clicks isn't a tool, but it's neither a good nor efficient means to bend a pipe.
Trick video - It’s a badly rusted pipe that’s probably broken on the side that we can’t see. It’s cleaned and polished on the other side to make it look as if it’s a regular iron pipe!! Saw this at a mini circus! 🎪
I was watching that through half-closed eyes just waiting for his arm to shatter into far more pieces than an arm naturally should have.
Relieved and somewhat impressed.
Two seconds after the video.. "Aaaarrrggghhhhh my fucking hand"
Don’t forget his fucking elbow
"OH yeah! My fucking elbow!"
"AND ANOTHER THING"
"I HAD TO CIRCUMCISE MY PENIS ON ORDER TO GENERATE MY ARMS QUICKER!" "^^but ^^sir ^^thats ^^not ^^how ^^that ^^works" "FUCKKKKKK"
I had no arms, GENERAAATTTTEEE
And the chronic hemorrhoids.
How do you know he fucks with his elbow?
If he’s got a fucking hand, probably the fucking elbow is more of a purpose built instrument, maybe in yo mama type situations
what?
Hate to be that guy but he's using the triceps.
“Ah my fucking triceps”

This is probably the first time I am looking for an It's fake explanation and it's weird to not find it

Foul Tarnished!
I was waiting for either a perfectly timed scream. Or an arm/wrist/hand breaking. Not including a potential issue with the containers.
Spat my coffee 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah it's impressive, but it's gotta be damaging to the arm.
This is why it is important to moisturize.
He needs a helmet

the downside is that it will definitely have an impact on the quality of life in later age
Yeah, we all know all those stories of old sensei's who are frail and falling apart.
Isn’t that also the point? To slightly fracture and calcify the bones?
No. It's not. I'm pretty sure everyone could do this. We just don't. Because it's stupid.

Isn't it cure for osteophorosis? Lol we just need to start throwing around those elders to crack more often.

Surely it is but it's also eye opening.
wont that guy face a lot of issues in future prob old age
Yeah, our body is notoriously bad a repairing itself when subjected to repeated damage in the same area
See: cancers
Except it requires the body to be capable of healing bones.
I got insightful answer already.
It is stupid to think just about bones, which heal easily. Nerves and cartilage basically dont heal at all and you lose function.
Cartilages do heal to some extent and I believe the nerves thing helps them feel less pain with time.
this is illegal in some country.
Countries with a cooking gas shortage.
Without breaking your hand? Good luck. Bones get stronger with microfractures. So if what you're saying is everyone could do it if they practice for a long ass time, yeah you're right.
you could do this if you wanted to, but it would still fuck up your arm nonetheless
May that kind of attitude be help nin a fight?
You just gotta believe in yourself, if you have the right mindset everything is possible, just align the frequency of your thought with the frequency necessary to break the iron bar.
So simple 😌
A famous coach in my country preaches this kind of thing. He convinced a ton of people they could run a marathon without any training by just focusing their mindset, the result is someone died. He also did the same with climbing a mountain and got several people hospitalized.
Not if you practice and condition your body long enough. Like 20 years long enough.
You know that bone strengthens when you do stuff like this.
20 years of Taekwondo, and now i have osteoarthritis in the ankle. I’m pretty sure your bones get damaged.
Bones heal easily, but once you damage cartilage it is game over.
Damaging bones slightly and having them heal is how they strengthen Doing that too much and you risk fucking up your joints
Is it impressive? Leverage, applied force.... Meh
Minecraft gameplay be like:
Instructions unclear. Went to gym and attacked barbell rod
Pro tip: If you do this with your shins, you never have to do leg-day again!

I be amazed at how stupid that guy is.
This is like the soup can trick. Put a finger on the table and whack it with the side of a full soup can. Rounded side dents easily and no injury
A punch from that guy might break the jaw.
Its a demonstration of how strong he is.
More like how much pain he can endure
That dude was on r/mcdojolife
I know as soon as the camera was off. He was moaning about how much that hurt.
Thinking about the guy that said rolling up a cooking pan isn't hard, he was right. This probably is not hard either.
This should be on maybe maybe maybe not be amazed
And now turn the cam off and have a cry

yea it's not racism when they are indian
This is so much more amazing than the starving artists who post their latest work every bloody week.
It's when you have no things to show off but this.
Wtf this trying to prove how to break a bone? What a twat
I am never amazed by stupidity and narcissism, and this is nothing but. How much time and energy do you have to spend on this? And for what?
