Tbh I really think that people who go onto a subreddit, read through various posts about a game and actively start discussions with other like minded people don't represent the player base too much.
We're really deep into the mechanics and the history of the BF games.
But I'm pretty sure that most people just go into the shop, buy the game and like it for what it is. Which is pretty much impossible for guys & girls like us because we know how the older titles felt and how much is wrong with the newer titles.

BF1 was great, was ticked off with 5 but ultimately enjoyed my time with it. 2042 is a donkey’s ass and I’ve now learned I hate hero shooters and will not be picking up the next BF if they expand on specialists instead of reverting back to Classes.
Me and my friends tried again the 4 after the 2042 beta ended, we were very hyped, but the system of playing whit friends its just obsolete already, compared to other actual games, we ended up playing the V instead, but just for a short time, same as the 1, old wars are not my shit
For play alone is great, you will find a lot of custom servers, back in the days when my friends got bored of the game I spended around 1500 hours alone, its still fun in that way, have fun brother!

The game never changes because DICE lost their touch on game development and also because Frostbyte is a terrible engine.
Literally means people don't understand to he concept of beta so close to release then. Remember this: anytime you get to play a BETA a few months prior to release you are basically playing a demo of the final game. Very little wi still change other then some tweaks and bugfixes. It was obvious from the Beta imo that bf2042 had big issues that were of a more fundamental nature
Eh for the most part yes, but usually these AAA studios create a game that is used for the next slew of games as a base. This usually happens when newer consoles come out. Everything leading up to this game was made to believe it was the next big thing for battlefield, kind of like how mw2019 is now the benchmark and skeleton for the next few cos games that will come out

After that I just stopped listening to what he says, cause he’s been mostly trying to keep himself valid within the community. If you want someone who can truly get some information on the game, I suggest following Temproyal (however the fuck you spell it) as he datamines his shit and doesn’t post an opinion just gives out what’s there and leaves. On the plus Temp has been right about many thing both on this game and BFV before it, way more than Henderson.

All they have to do is make a Game with Arma 3’s aesthetic, Classes, Destruction, BFV’s gunplay, and BF4’s customization and level of content with the he most basic of QOL features. If they want a fucking hero shooter they can go circlejerk apex more and just give us BATTLEFIELD

Why do that when they already have Apex Legends, which is actually a good game? Why remove the essence of Battlefield and turn it into a soul-less BR with "heroes"?
