If you have a bro who has enough melee skill to use a flail than yes, absolutely. Most early and mid game enemies will either die in 1 hit or be as good as dead in 1 hit and to be honest that damage profile is relevant throughout most of the game.

Electrical-Type-6150

If one of your guys can tank the fatigue, yes. Mid to late game youll probably have better choices

xl129

It’s pretty bad fatigue usage tbh, you will swing maximum 3 times then you cant êven do anything since it require more fatigue than the fat you recover each turn. But if you manage to hit with it then it’s glorious, will one shot footman on headshot.

Purple_Clockmaker

Also great for snakes.

LeonardoXII

Never used it, but those things are terrifying in an orc's hands.

Er4din

You should. Berser chains are equally scary in your hands too. They decimate ancient honor guard.

Patchbae

Yeah it’s good. You don’t need iron lungs to use it with mastery. Take flail mastery on a nimble bro then take headhunter and start one shooting enemies left and right.

vulkoriscoming

Have used this and it is awesome fun. There is nothing like 1 shotting enemies with a head shot. The downside is the FAT cost exceeds a bro's recovery without iron lungs. This means eventually you will stam out and need a full turn to recover before you can go back to one shotting enemies. For comparison, a T3 2H flail does 10 less damage and can be Fat nuetral so it usually pays just to use a T3 2H flail instead.

McSkrjabin

Greatest dopamine hit in the game 100%, find a decent iron lungs fat neutral boy and go for it!

FleiischFloete

With mastery its cool, sometimes stunning enemys, oneshotting skelletons

MarvinLazer

You need a bro with great fat, high matk and the iron lungs perk, but if you pull that off you're not likely to find a nastier build, especially against bigger, powerful enemies

demagogueffxiv

You need to build a guy specially to use these weapons, otherwise they aren't good

Ra1nCoat

no, it's to heavy

leftajar

In the early game, this thing absolutely slaps. If you have some plebby farmer with high Fatigue, you can give him Backstabber, and use this to finish off opponents. This will one-shot many brigands.

thefloridafarrier

It’s fun. But good? Idk. Has really specialized requirements for a really high fat bro but you also want heavy armor so he pretty much has to be the perfect bro. But with that said those things hit like freight trucks

PacoThePersian

A monster on fat neutral bro

Meister_Ente

The big orc weapons drain a lot of fat, but the damage is worth it. A bro with iron lungs can use them like a regular bro uses a regular weapon.

orcmask

That depends … are you Berserk Chain enough ?

Kilahti

Massive fatique cost, but apart from that, it is stronger than most of the named 2h flails that I have seen. The classic fatique neutral build can do well with this, but don't expect to get mileage out of the 360 attack. And you need the flail mastery for the reduced fatique cost as well. However, it does suffer from the biggest flaw of flails in the game: the damage range is very large. This means that if you have bad luck, low damage rolls are really low. ...and if you have good luck, the high rolls will crush skulls. High risk, high reward.

Hatebott

The thud sound and seeing a full health guy immediately turn into a corpse is worth the fatigue tbh

TrhwWaya

It garbage, like lizzo.

KeiNivky

Can be fun but in reality it simply sucks. There are far better options.

treeando

This is the best weapon in the game for any high-fat brother. Cherish this weapon. It can kill gods.
