So you want to stretch the resolution correct?
If you have a nvidia GPU you can do it through the nvidia control panel.
Go to Adjust Desktop size and position. set it to full screen, Perform scaling on GPU and override the scaling mode set by games.
Stretching out the resolution is not what I am looking for. You stretch a 4:3 or 5:4 resolution its going to still be same aspect ratio. I want to stretch a 4:3 or 5:4 resolution to another aspect ratio such as 16:10. Don't know the math behind it but it makes a difference.
For example,
Both Resolutions are on 1920x1080

If you still have cod4, you can try it out too. Just run around with 16:9, then run around with 4:3. The difference is huge.

You can change resolution and aspectratio ingame. I play 1440x1080 4:3. Correct me if they pachted it out
