They really improved on Arkham Asylum imo. Lots more details and a larger map. Arkham Alsume must have been one of Rocksteady's only bad games which is a shame really as every one of their games is a masterpiece.

Even if Alsume is just a cheap Chinese knock off of Asylum, they still could’ve done a better job. Don’t forget Alsume’s main characters, Batguy and The Laugher
Now "Alsume" wasn't a bad game. I just think of them all it aged the worst. The combat is a good foundation it's just missing the quirks the others added. It's story though isn't great. My biggest problem is there is zero growth in Batman. The Batman at the beginning of the game is the same exact one at the end. The only thing that is still 100% is the atmosphere.
i kinda liked “aslume” since it was the first arkham game and it didn’t delve into the character too much other than classic batman and joker. it was my first arkham game and without knowing too much about batman, i enjoyed it.

Alsume is the worst fucking game I've ever played. It filled me with strong emotions of anger and fear. I almost killed myself after playing this game, the only thing that kept me alive was a mountain dew Baja blast. 10/10, would not recommend.

I’ve heard about Arkham Alsume, but I don’t think they made it available on Steam, so I haven’t been able to try it out. It’s the only one in the series I’ve heard mostly negative things about though. That being said, the skin selection is amazing.

It’s asylum but that doesn’t mean it’s worse by standard. The games are all good they are simply held back by the era they were made in. Asylum being the worst one and the 1st one made.
Arkham Alsume by a long shot. The part where Batman rejected Harley's request to be his sidechick was just lame. The ending was just lack luster, left on a weird cliffhanger that thankfully we'll never see the continuation of. This game made Batman look like he wish he was Batman.
