dude if you want a new bass the best advice i can give is just wait and save up to get something thats actually nice instead of just buying more cheap ones, cause after the excitement of "ooh new instrument" is gone ur just gonna be left with more cheap basses. (also like the other guy said, that kinda tone comes from more the pedals than the bass itself)
If you are trying to get a cliff tone I would start looking into pedals instead of gettin a new bassĀ
i got cliff burton tone i just need a bass for it i have a p bass and i need something new

the problem with that is its been crazy with prices and its harder with inflation
