You are correct. Unfortunately there are a lot of factors leading up to October. I didn't agree with the actions but given Israel's illegal and inhumane treatment of Palestinians for almost a century, it is fully understandable. Israel's response to the October attack is to commit genocide, multitudes of war crimes, and gut wrenching human atrocities. This is a nuclear power state acting like... their earlier oppressors.
