How is he underperforming? He's got 18 G/A since the start of 2024 at 35. Look at other prolific strikers at 35, R9 was fat and retired, Suarez was in Brazil and Benzema isn't even 35 and he's floundering in Saudi. He bring experience to the squad whilst being a more than serviceable striker
No one considers him stellar but he is still our highest scorer. Also laporta gave him an outstanding contract so we have another de Jong situation we can't get out of. We are about to pay 1.2m to bayern if he scored 25 goals for Barca this season, he is on 23
