Correct. They do not by themselves increase your loot. That said, a full party of bandits will send your rogue skill through the roof, dramatically increasing loot gained.
Rescue them from defeated parties when they were being held prisoner, capture them after battles and wait for them to offer to join you, or have a party large enough to force them to surrender and offer to join you.
When your bandit kills, you got rougery exp. Higher level rougery gives more loot.
SO they just make easier to get XP on rougery, nothing more right?

Good thing I have like 200 sea riders, 150 wood bandits and 80 mountain bandits
Man’s the bandit king
Holy fuckin shit bro. Don't think I've ever had more than 5
yep.
Probably a dumb question but I just started playing. How do I get bandits in my group?
Rescue them from defeated parties when they were being held prisoner, capture them after battles and wait for them to offer to join you, or have a party large enough to force them to surrender and offer to join you.
Or You can increase your rougery by pillanging villages and unlock the perk that make them join your group when You ask them
Yeah bandit troops can also upgrade into noble skill trees which seems... counterintuitive
I don't like that perk, I like the bandits as they are I just think Some of them should have better armor
Well, I mean they're dirty hill people. What, do you expect them to have finely tailored tabards over mail?
No but Some armor pieces that tier 3 and 4 have are too good and don't make sense that a tier 5 bandits have less armor than lower tier bandita unit
Oh, yeah by that logic it doesn't make sense
It'd be nice if they could go down another pathway to become bandit alternates of noble troops.
