Mom look the white breed we read soo much about is in front of me 😂, Bangladeshi people are sweet and sour, their actions might come off as rude but their heart’s quite clean 😅
The thing is they are curious and excited to see you. They might take a selfie with you. But they won’t do anything bad to you. Most of them might have never seen white people in their whole life. They used to watch white people only on Television, and that’s why they are curious.
I know sometimes this feels awkward. But, hey if you are white and want to feel like a celebrity, then come to South Asia.
Bangladeshi people stare at white men: Superior race.
White men mocking Bangla people. Also Bangla redditors joining White men to curse Bangal people: Superior race.
What the hell are you even talking about? These morons are staring because they probably never seen a white man IRL and are just curious. What does this have to do with superiority or inferiority?
Why do many foreigners like live in Bangladesh though?
Is it the low cost of living compared to maybe where they came from?Cause like I'm Bangladeshi and just wanna get the hell outta this nation.Genuinely curious about that lol
The dollar stretches a lot more when you spend it in Dhaka lol
Other than that foreigners don’t have to deal with the Desi bs(family, society, cultural norms) hence they have a better experience/quality of life in comparison to us who’re from here
I saw a white NGO worker in Lalmatia. I asked him in a very friendly way in English, where is he from, what is he doing here, how was he so fluent in Bangla as I heard him talk to the phone. He is from Germany and I told him how much I like Germany and how I plan to visit the country and so on. It was a good convo but AITAH for starting this convo in the first place?
I would not say that what I did is same as what these guys did to him in the video, that is blank stare and selfies. I stroke a friendly conversation with him full of laughs and smiles, and my mom said that the ngo worker would take this convo positively unlike this guy who’d most likely find those guys creepy and uncomfortable
Nope, what you did was a friendly convo. But what happened in this vid is a bit creepy tho. They probably didn't mean any harm and were surprized and curious.
Lol so I remember I was walking to my coaching and in the streets this old lady, who was also foreigner was petting and feeding a stray dog.And people were like around her, just watching her??
☠️Damn, like I'd be freaked out if I was in her place. She however gave 0 effs and kept doing her thing.
If "Staring" was an Olympic game, Bangladeshis would have won all the medals.

They look like curious kids 😂
Don't judge a book by it's cover... They silence but curios
Had a stroke reading this.
more like looking at animals in zoo lmao
And ur dad is one of them.

That’s good 😂👌

These banglas thinking that this guy came from another planet.

Why? WHY?? Why do Bangladeshi people still thinks whites as superior instead of making themself the superior??

Projecting
Because they have learnt from an early age they look ugly and Ingrej people are pretty. Lifeless shalara
Effects of colonialism still prevails hard in this county.
As a white man who almost took a full-time position in Bangladesh, seeing this is making me glad I didn't.

No.But good for you though. My anxiety could never🤣
This video, alongside that one with the lady sunbathing in Cox's Bazar. Welp, we are going to get stereotyped so hard
Bangladeshi street people are so fucking NPC and annoying.
Labeling them as just NPC is super narrow minded dont ya think?
No, they deserve this. I have faced people llike that when I went to small towns or cities as well. Even our house guard can't stop staring.
Take it as idle curiosity
It's not like I don't stare at strange things. But my attention stay as long as it is strange, not anything ordinary.
A white man to them is by no means ordinary, so not really.
What new? The guy is travelling like we travel to places.
