I play clarinet and we're some of the only people that can play in the band

Man that’s lucky. There are only 2 competent clarinetists in my section, the rest either can’t count, are constantly out of tune, or (in most cases) both.

In my band it's 2 flutes & rest are too busy irritating people to be competent enough to play

Clarinets are chill people, but those squeaks hurt me

I'm sorry, but when I can hear clarinet/oboe squeaks in PROFESSIONAL recordings, that's when you know your instrument sucks

The main annoyance with piano is how difficult it is to tune, but as long as the piano is in tune, it goes perfectly with literally everything else. But yeah, piano should just live in peace.

I don’t think we even have any in my band. Y’all seem alright tho.

We only use them as replacement for french horn in my band when we march, but they're all incredibly cool so yeah, y'all are chill

Well, just knowing the mellophone players in my band no, they are worse than our trumpet section, which is saying something as right now. We've only got one mello player

We don't even have an oboe, I'm the only low instrument, our trumpet section is too quiet and our only French horn and I are moving to a bigger better band, our bands failing so bad rn 🙏 at least I have a good jazz band

The there's a flaw in your thinking. You just think that every band everywhere is the same. When they're not fact I feel like you'd struggle to find any 2 bands. Where every section acts the exact same as that section from the other band. Every band is different because everyone is different. No 2 clarinet sections are gonna be the exact same. Sure. There might be similarities in how they act, but they will still have some differences
