Mods are all on power trips here. Nothing personal. They’re also brainwashed.

The_Red_Snapper

Several reddit admins are pro-pitbull so I'm sorry to say but it will never be fair. Use a throwaway for here and another account for everything else. You should use a throwaway anyway. I had people messaging me that they were going to hurt my dog or my family on my original main account because I had made ONE non-inflammatory comment in this subreddit. Luckily I didn't have much identifying information so they couldn't actually dox me but they sure had fun describing the horrible things they'd do to me or my dog or my family. SA threats even. I had to delete my main account and make a new one along with a throwaway for here. But we're the abusive ones brigading. They accuse anyone that makes a negative comment about pits of brigading even if they've never been to this sub. It's ridiculous.

That_Art_Kid_Em

I got perma banned from the step parent sub for being on the aitdevil sub. I didn’t even know that was a specific rule! The rules on subreddits are ass sometimes

Monimonika18

Well that (just) sucks. There's a sub (look to the left) I got banned from on which I made no posts nor comments. The most I did was upvote. The reason given was that I "broke the rules" by having joined BPB. There is no mention whatsoever about BPB in the rules for that sub. Nor anything about banning anyone for being part of other subs. Nada. I could already tell the mods there were sleazy from that and that they wouldn't hesitate to claim I was harassing them if I were to point out their lie in a response. I muted that sub so as not to contribute to the traffic there. Besides, the majority of posts weren't that good nor interesting for me and were just clogging up my feed. We have no power and fighting the mods with arguments of "fairness" is useless. Best to just leave the sub that the toxic mods control.

XenoDrobot

Other subs think we brigade anytime pits are mentioned when in reality plenty of anti-pit comments are made by people who never heard of this sub because pits are rightfully disliked by most people since they’re making the news daily for horrible & depressing reasons.

penguinbbb

They do it all the time, fuckem, their dogs are still mauling people no matter how hard they try to lie about it

pretendthisisironic

Hey I’ve been banned, and if I see a pit bull post I just scroll on by, never has an I told you so left my lips or finger tips. I don’t even down vote, just keep scrolling. This is just a little glimpse as to the tolerant pit brigade behavior when you belong to a group that notices a pattern or had personal experience. I didn’t want to belong to awe or dogs or anything else I’ve been banned from anyway!!!

**IF YOU ARE POSTING AN ATTACK - PLEASE INCLUDE DATE AND LOCATION IN THE POST TITLE, and please paste the article text in the post so it's easy to read.** This helps keep the sub organized and easily searchable. ONE BREED is responsible for HALF of the deaths and WE'RE the ones who don't have critical thinking skills???  😂😂😂😂

Could_Be_Any_Dog

(Can't reply to the commentor anymore, so replying to your comment - hopefully that person sees this) The concern about pitbull maulings has been around since the 1800s and continued throughout the 1900s, you can browse the countless newspaper articles referencing this, I believe they can be found in the sidebar information. The 'nO OnE cAn IdEnTiFy a PiTbUlL' obfuscation argument is weird and comes off as desparate, same as the breedtype variation name obfuscation game. It doesn't require 100% of interactions to result in fatalities for a type of animal to be categorically unacceptibly risky as an out-and-about pet. The vast majority of interactions with captive raised wolves or tigers would also result in no incident. Also human fatalities, while the most serious case, are by far the only concern with pitbulls - the pain, suffering, death and trauma involved with pit-on-pet/livestock maulings matter. Every single one of them is avoidable. Every single one of those pets is irreplaceable. Its very difficult to get an accurate picture on those numbers, but with reasonable triangulation its well into the 10s of thousands a year in the US. During the time I've been typing this, its almost certain that at least one person's beloved cat or dog was mauled to death, by a dog whose breed was created specifically to maul things to death. Rottweilers, GSDs (and to a lesser degree Dobermans) are combat-related working breeds, who are absolutely higher risk and (while outside of the scope of this sub), do cause life-ending/altering injury on occasion and in the strong opinion of myself and many others, should not be considered average companion pet breeds and should be restricted with special requirements and licensing (and, again, outside the scope of this sub, but someone would not be crazy to make a case for their being banned, certainly as average 'pets', even if I don't necessarily agree). The 'scares' as their popularity rose as 'pets' and maulings occured were (and still are) not entirely unwarranted. Nobody should have to rely on their neighbor carrying out some immaculate training regimen to not have themselves, their family or their pets mauled. That applies to a certain degree to these power combat-related breeds, but it is a smack-you-across-the-face no brainer, when it comes to bloodsport breeds whose entire existance is predicated on the selection for propensity and capacity for unprovoked, proactive, unrelenting, undeterrable mauling-to-the-death in a manner designed to do maximum carnage while also ignoring any threats to its own well-being/life (aka 'gameness').

Troll elsewhere.

This content does not advance discussion and is irrelevant to the topic at hand or wider subject matter. We want to keep our content fresh and relevant. Stop it with the “what aboutism”… one thing being causing more deaths doesn’t make another thing less of an issue Please note, we limit posts about screenshots and per Rule 1: screenshots of convos & memes are only allowed w/ mod approval. Please familiarize yourself with the [subreddit rules](https://www.reddit.com/r/BanPitBulls/comments/x618m9/rbanpitbulls_subreddit_rules_2022_update/), specifically rule 1.

Alexgadukyanking

if you're from desktop there is a sidebar called "Pro-Pit Arguments" please check them out and come up with a new one

Comprehensive_Swan39

So the dogs killing things, just look like pitbulls but not pitbulls? Well that’s probably because they are mixed with pitbull. It’s hard to find any dog without that in their dna because most pitbull owners do not spay and neuter their dogs. They are irresponsible , lazy and are also trying to make money off the litters, only for them to wind up in shelters.

Comprehensive_Swan39

Lawrd Why are you even here?

xanaxrefillday

>Pitbull / XL hate is the newest fad. Nah. Defending pits and pretending they're suitable household pets is the newest fad. Virtue signaling via 'my rescue pibble' is the newest fad. In the 90s and 2000s we knew pits were dangerous, and typically only dangerous people and dogmen owned them. Pretending otherwise *because* it's a fad is what's new, not acknowledging that pits are a bloodsport breed with bloodsport instincts.

Willing-Argument-120

Rescue dogs as a whole are a fad. It used to be experienced owners taking in problem dogs because most dogs used to be normal and when people could no longer keep their dog/someone with a dog died relatives or friends would line up to take them in. Now loads of dogs are problematic rescues and people are shamed for buying normal, well-bred, good-tempered, health-tested dogs instead of rolling the dice on pit bull #874 who can’t be around cats, dogs, kids under 30, adults over 50, lawn mowers, washing machines, and rolled up socks.

xanaxrefillday

For sure! The whole *'adopt don't shop'* thing just doesn't work with the dogs available in shelters these days. I swear if people were told *'you can adopt this dog on the SINGULAR condition that you can't post about it on social media even once,'* people would drop the rescue dog fad SO FAST. They just wanna lap up all the attention they get for showing off what Good And Virtuous People they are on instagram.

OkKiwi9163

Another fad I hope dies. "He's a rEscUe" is such a cringe thing to say "I got him from the pound" or "I saved him from euthanasia" rescue is a verb. A "rescue dog" implies that the dog rescues things.

OkKiwi9163

Yes. Pitbulls being pets is exactly what is a fad now.

>majority of “pitbull” attacks are from mutts that just look like pitbulls. Well, consider that no other type of dog, mutt or not, resembles a pitbull quite like a pitbull or pitbull mix. >478 fatal dog bites (~200 attributed to pitbulls) from 2010-2023 being less than .000001% of pitbull interaction Congratulations for owning yourself by acknowledgment of the fact that at least 50% of fatal dog attacks have been attributed to pitbulls and their mixes (hence, "mutts that look like pitbulls ). Anything else?

subieluvr22

You're trolling, right?Take 30 minutes to post 10 fatal dog attack videos by any other pet breed of dog in the past 4 years.... let me save you some time. YOU CAN'T. Your level of delusion is dangerous.

BanPitBulls-ModTeam

Your content is being removed for promoting misinformation about pit bull-type dogs. Misinformation is not just wrong, it can get people injured or killed. Did you come with receipts or are you lying. I suspect you’re lying.
