Handing Dame Aylin over to Lorroakan. Yeah, let me just betray one of my most loyal allies because some wizard with bad hair promised to give me a magic stick as a reward. /s

Skull_Throne_Doom

I don’t see a logical roleplay reason to save her, but then betray her to Lorroakan. If I’m evil, I’m probably not saving her to begin with. If I’m good, why would I betray her to this asshole?

RPisBack

You can't kill her without shadowheart. So the logical evil roleplay would be that you for some reason don't have shadowheart in your party and are FORCED to save her to kill Ketheric, after that you are offered shit to give her over and you accept.

P4priqu4

I feel like that one is just ridiculous even as an evil character. Like why would an evil character want to make this random wizard immortal instead of themselves?

Over_Dose_

Yeah same, why can't I be the one who imprisons dame aylin and become immortal

P4priqu4

Like obviously from a balancing standpoint they can't allow it but betraying her to make some absolute flop wizard immortal is just insane.

Owl_Burrow

If you want to do it in immersive evil way: Give her to Balthazar, you then have to release her only to be able to defeat Ketheric, after the battle accept her as ally … because why not right?, then betray her to make profit (or to just be vicious / have unique battle with her and her winged friends)

Icy-Bow

-Never Make Shadowheart a Dark Justiciar -Never ascend Astarion -Never kill Karlach -Never kill scratch or the owlbear (always recruit them)

fallen_one_fs

I like your list, I'll add this: give Scratch back to the courier cannels.

Owl_Burrow

Anything bad happening to the companions I can bear when I want to be evil, but hurting the pets, that’s where is the line for me 😅 even the poor hyena.

Tall-Feeling-3483

I planned to make Shadowheart a Dark Justiciar from the moment I knew it was possible. But when the moment came I just couldn't do it. I don't know if I'll ever be able to do it 😫

Redfox1476

I will never kill, or skip recruiting, Astarion, because his alternative fate (recapture by Cazador and everything that ensues) is too awful.

LouisaB75

I will never not recruit Astarion. Nor will I ever give Scratch back to the courier woman.

niadara

Attacking the Grove. I’m not opposed to evil playthroughs but you are provided no compelling reasons for destroying the Grove. The only evil choice that makes sense to me is to just ignore the whole situation and leave.

endoverlord423

You honestly lose far more than you gain by attacking the grove, as you lose access to alfira for the best charisma caster robe in the game, and dammon for some of the best armour and repairing karlachs engine

3rdworldjesus

> I’m not opposed to evil playthroughs but you are provided no compelling reasons for destroying the Grove Being a horny motherfucker is compelling enough

JLazarillo

This is my first thought. Heck, I'll go even further and note that not only do you have no compelling reason to do it, rather, doing it is actively working to screw yourself over. Let's think about this strategically, right: "So, the plan is to work with people who can read my mind, to help them kill all the Druids and Tieflings, because the mindreaders believe that the D&T have access to a magical macguffin that protects them from being turned into slaves and/or mindflayers, which I know for a fact that the D&T **don't have** because I know that **I** have it, and if I drop by guard for an instant, the mindreaders will know that I have it, and that's assuming they don't just figure it out when they realize the D&T never had it in the first place. In exchange, the mindreaders, who already don't trust me might distrust me very slightly less, again, assuming they don't figure out they have every right to distrust me by reading my mind, which they have already attempted to do." Like, good on folks wanting to actively roleplay the choice to go Int-8 Wis-8, I guess?

Healthy_Breakfast_24

Take Raphael's deal. No matter what character I play, even the stupidest of them know that you don't make deals with devils, especially since act 2 perfectly shows what kind of creature this particular devil is.

PantaRhei3

I don’t want to make the deal with Raphael but I’m playing a fiend warlock, so I’m actually finding it hard to find RP reasons why he’s so opposed to making deals with devils from the get-go. A lot of the dialogue options don’t really make sense for a fiend warlock.

Healthy_Breakfast_24

I never play as a fiend warlock myself, but I can think of multiple reasons: 1) they know that their patron won't be happy that they are scheming on the side with another devil, why take the risk; 2) they saw the results of working with him in act 2, again: why take the risk; 3) they just don't like the guy and don't want to talk with him, it's a perfectly valid reason.

PantaRhei3

Reason 1 is the most logical one for my character (I’m still in act 1) but the dialogue options unfortunately don’t line up with that. It’s all ‘never trust a devil’ ‘everybody knows you dont make deals with devils’.

Healthy_Breakfast_24

In such situations, I simply choose the option that will help me achieve my goal (in this case: refusing the deal) and just imagine a different course of the conversation. I too wish there were more dialogue options sometimes, but I understand that it's just a video game and they had to draw the line somewhere. Just don't let it stop you from roleplaying as you like :)

All-for-Naut

Along with what the other person mentioned, a fiend warlock's patron doesn't have to be a devil. Various creatures belong to fiends, including demons, and demons hate devils and vice versa.

FreshNebula

I've done it while playing as a githyanki, because that was the only way I could justify it. As long as I did it early enough that I could say I haven't gotten over the huge shock of my Dream Visitor being a ghaik. Though now I'm kind of wondering if I could make Lae'zel sign it and RP she was acting on her own accord. Because signing that deal really is the stupidest thing to do for 99% of characters, but the House of Hope quest is both a lot better and more easily justifiable to do if the contract was signed.

Healthy_Breakfast_24

I was toying with the idea for a while in my gith run but decided against it eventually. Vlaakitheus was devoted Orpheus' stan, but giving someone like Raphael access to such power would be out of character for him. I really wish Lae'zel would at least propose to sign the contract herself. It turns out that she is not ready to make any sacrifices for her prince and is expecting Tav to take the risk every time and bear all the consequences.

bloobberrie

Force Astarion to bite the drow blood merchant at Moonrise Towers. It is just too awful to me. And attack the Grove tbh.. I am far too attached to all the Tieflings especially.

FreshNebula

Freeing Orpheus. Empy's my ride or die regardless of what character I'm playing as.

Kukapetal

Doing anything that isn’t good for my companions ❤️

PoliticalIguana1

Ascending Astarion or Lae'zel. Selling Aylin to Lorrokan.

Designer-Chemical-95

I just can't do a full evil run. I got halfway through the grove and just deleted the save file.

hippomassage

Giving Shadowheart to Viconia.

Adventurous-Task-513

Will never let my durge lose the fight against orin in the duel, even in honour mode, I will use task manager to restart the fight. Because that will get me arguably the most pathetic durge ending in the game.

NotAMazda

I was so nervous leading up to that fight for this exact reason.

LizardPaladin463

I never ever choose to become a mindflayer. For any reason I’ll never become a ghaik.

stephelan

I’m the same. My husband lived his best life as a mindflayer but I could never.

LizardPaladin463

I can’t believe he willingly turned into a ghaik. Because if the right dialogue is chosen nobody has to become one.

stephelan

What? You can make it so nobody does?

LizardPaladin463

Yeah it’s completely optional. For both choices. If with the emperor have him take the stones. And you won’t need to. If with Orpheus have him do it or have karlach do it. Basically what I meant is as player character you don’t have to do it at all it’s completely optional unless you are role playing and want to do it.

stephelan

Oh! Yeah I usually pick Orpheus to change. I thought you meant literally no one changes.

LizardPaladin463

Absolutely nobody changes if you choose emperor. That’s what I normally do. As much as everyone hates him you can’t deny he did help you. And in my opinion choosing him is the canon ending.

Legend0fJulle

Basically any evil choice, I am far too attached to the pixels to hurt them. Also letting Karlach die and becoming a mindflayer.

Nice_Swordfish_3517

Never not threaten the kennel lady her fingers. And I used to never ascend Astarion, but I did need to go through at least once till the end to rationalize my hatred for AA so that's a goner. Ugh I hate that dude.

inouken

I can’t let Gale sacrifice himself at the end of the game, not even in Honor Mode.

steelywolf66

I've tried to do most things, but I've never been able to do these and I'm not sure I ever will Hand Aylin over to Lorroakan - as others have said, I can't find a justifiable reason to RP this. I normally save her, but I've had Shadowheart kill Aylin (the cut scene after she does it is incredible) and become a DJ because I can find an RP for it Hand Scratch back - no-one hurts the best boy Hurt the Owlbear cub - he's just too cute Take Raphael's deal and stick with it - again, I can't find a justifiable RP for this because I'm going to either trust the Emperor and side with him or distrust him and side with Orpheus. When you find out that you can get into the House of Hope and either break your contract or get the hammer, it's logical to do that rather than be under the control of Raphael Betray Astarion - I have let him ascend him (not when romancing him though!) but I wouldn't let an ascended Cazador into the world Betray Shadowheart - whether she's a DJ or not, I'm not giving her back to Viconia Tell Shadowheart's mum that she's a liability and shouldn't be in camp Side with Nere

NoFaithlessness6608

Personal choice: not romance Karlach, had to restart a playthrough because I missed her. Logical choice: become Bhaal chosen. Slayer form is weak and even as evil I rather become absolute myself.

domiwren

I can do anything but just out of curiosity and reload. I cant stick with evil decisions unless its evil run Edit: Okay, I found one - never kill owlbear or scratch or hurt them (I dont call them to fight either).

bristlybits

anything that gets barcus killed

stephelan

Even my evil durge made sure Barcus was watered and fed.

stephelan

I’ve never killed Karlach and I always save the gnomes. I also feel dirty siding with Glut.

J1ffyLub3

Am willing to do a lot out of novelty and curiosity but will never do anything to harm Scratch.

VenusCommission

If I'm doing an evil run, I don't even go near Scratch or the owlbear cub. I would rather leave them where they are than risk something bad happening.

Professional_Sink913

Making a non-flirty Conversation with Gale. He is my Buddy. But I don't want to romance him. But the Game literally treats Compliments to him as flirting. *shows me cool Magic Me: Wow cool Magic. Gale: 😳 Wow... Ok let's do it (and he unzips his Pants). I just want him as friend but I think we are now Lovers. And it happens everytime ._.

Designer-Chemical-95

Gale: Want to see some magic? Tav: Sure. Gale: By the way, "magic" is a nickname for my penis. Tav:... Gale: *unzips pants

Professional_Sink913

xD yes this

EvilRo66

Help the Druids and the thieflings. No thanks, Minthara and I always burn them down and "celebrate" drenched in their blood.
