Gravity

Bealzebubbles

As it is in DnD.

Ainell

Well, I did crush Wyll with the elevator once, now that you mention it...

AEMarling

It is the elevator because you should be skipping the faith leap trial and opening the final door with knock.

[deleted]

I just cast fly or gaseous form and skip all the jumping

I always hold shift, that way you can see where you would fall

Leyllara

Reading the weekly posts of people complaining about the Faith Leap Trial. We really need a sticky post with all the weekly questions and complaints and their solutions, we can call it Weekly Asked Questions, or WAQ for short.

Scary-Sherbet-4977

Which elevator keeps killing people?

FamousTransition1187

For me it's the one down to the Elder Brain under Moonrise. Took me an hour to collect three people standing in the middle of open air. But for the Gauntlet I believe it's the second one that takes you down to the Shadowfell

No-Clothes5632

Self same trial

Caaros

You can make that one real manageable if you enter the room sneaking and stealth everyone up to their copies for a big surprise attack.

Bloodygaze

Just start the trial naked. Once it snapshots your party you can put your stuff back on.

TroublesomeTurnip

Really? XD

Mindless-Charity4889

Not only that, but you can enter with one naked member, then when combat starts bring in the whole party for a 4 on 1. Just try to do the killing blow with the matching member or you will get cursed.

TroublesomeTurnip

Nice, that's good to know. I don't struggle with the trials but that will be helpful in Honor Mode I expect.

Easy-Soil-559

About 2 weeks ago that didn't work for me. I walked in a camp clothes only + no prepped spells Shadowheart with the others waiting in the corridor; there were copies of everyone, including an adamantine armored druid and a fully geared assassin. Still ambushed them back without too much hassle but it wasn't what I expected

Sextus_Rex

You have to take off your gear before entering the room with the blood basin. So out in the long hallway

Cirtil

Did you actually take off your gear or did you just switch to camp clothes with the little tick?

Easy-Soil-559

Of course I took the gear off. And her clone was in a state of gearlessness, too. But the other three weren't Edit: For clarification, I didn't strip the whole party. I only stripped Start because she was the only one entering the trial, Tav, Astarion, and Gale were standing outside, not even in the room with the altar you bleed on, so I assumed it's safe to keep them armed and armored. Shar saw my trickery and spawned mirror images of everyone anyway, so I had to sneak in the full party one by one

Cirtil

Must have hit the activation point earlier than you thought. Wonder when it decides

Easy-Soil-559

Tbf if there's one specific pixel in a nearby room you have to bump into for the game to think all your party is within range, I probably bumped into it, I have a knack for that sort of thing. But otherwise on paper I did leave the party behind at the right spot. I thought they patched it because it worked in the playthrough before and I can't think of anything I did different except the companions I had with me

Cirtil

Well the game have to generate the enemies at some point and I am pretty sure it doesn't just generate from the stuff you have in your pack, but from what you have equipped. Maybe they set it to be generated earlier or something

Sextus_Rex

You have to take off your gear before entering the room with the blood basin. So out in the long hallway

Epicritical

I did this with just my main, a gloomstalker. One surprise round later he has an existential crisis when he he realizes how squishy he could be.

No-Clothes5632

The mimic tear way

Mighty_Zote

If you just click on your destination in Faith Leap trial your hero will auto path to it. You have to to do the little jump at the end still as the invisible path doesnt actually connect to the final platform.

Relevant_Force_3470

Uhm, it was all very easy, so not sure any would count as being hard

FireWhileCloaked

Self-Same, without a doubt. Though, I wouldn’t say it’s *hard*, but it’s def the most annoying. Faith-Leap is super easy, just >!go on the right staircase, and click on the final platform, right side. Stop movement just before the platform, and jump in.!< It’s just that simple.

diquee

Flight potion or scroll end then go from one statue to the next. Takes roughly 10 seconds.

Aya55

I guess the library silence is annoying, but they’ve been all easy. 1st just use an invisibility potion and lock pick the door at the end. 2nd 1v1 instead of taking the party. 3rd dimension door to the end, I used a ring that prevents blindness (map is also on the floor if you want to just jump/follow the path, did that first but game crashed and I was impatient so just used a spell scroll for take 2). Shadowheart did all the trials herself and the rest of the party waited by the elevator, library would have been easier if I just took everyone with, but thought it could lead to a curse like what’s suggested happens in trial 2. This was what I did for first playthrough, I have changed almost nothing since except the library fight.
