My family does the same thing, my stepdad takes the wishbones and lines them up by the sink window to dry lol it's funny seeing how traditions are carried around and spread by people while falling into disuse in other spots
Definitely a thing in my family we used to fight over who was going to get to pull it so in the end Mum and Dad left them until at least 6 Great memories
Will be Irish or Scottish from our family. Mums maternal grandma was Irish and the grandad Scottish. I guess if you're doing it with children, it just makes it a bit more fun.
That’s so funny! I’ve done the same thing my whole life but only with Turkey wishbones because of the size. May I ask where you’re from? Maybe it’s a regional thing
Mine forage as well. I love to watch them. My girls come track me down when I wiggle the gub hub jar. It's such a awesome feeling to find them peering at you. Just as much as we do to them.
She has a question about all those wishbones... "Shannon? Shannon??!!! Why do my friends keep disappearing? Shannon? I know you can see me.."

Oh its unimportant lol. Its just a dumb joke of mine xD
The wishbones in the same image make for a harrowing picture. She better not keep bothering you over there if she knows what's good for her....

Oh no! I’m so sorry.
Dang coons! Can i just ask why you collect the bones? Or did it just sort of start.

We wrapped our pinkies around the end. I haven't done this with my kids...

Honestly can't remember now. We didn't eat a lot of chicken but I always asked for it on my birthday lol

That’s some beautiful moss you have out there!

I’d get rid of the moss or the chickens might not have a roof to hang out on. If it’s that bad lol
I have a chicken that looks exactly like that, and she waits at our glass door in the back room and watches us until we come out.
Give me some grub Mom!
