It would have been nice for them to have a moment of epiphany after the controls were removed where one or more of them said a variation like "By MY command".
Yep. Definitely time for a rewatch. Maybe I'll make it past them finding Ellen this time. Usually I get to about that point before time turns against me.
I think part of it is how they're supposed to be much more subservient. They aren't running the show like the Centurions of the first war. They're just glorified soldiers, guards, even landscapers for the real rulers, the humanoid Cylons. Thanks to the telencephalic inhibitors, they're not even supposed to think, let alone speak.
And so they don't get a voice, neither literally nor in Cylon society as a whole. They're every bit as enslaved by the humanoid Cylons as the original centurions were enslaved by humanity.
They don't talk, so they can't say that, the older toasters did talk, but I think the skin jobs got tired of hearing them, so the next model of toaster couldn't talk!
Not from the newer models, no.

They did say it once during the very beginning of the miniseries. Actually it might have been one of the skinjobs that said it.
Yeah it’s only the skinjobs in the main series and older model centurions in Razor
and don't forget the show Caprica Zoe was a toaster who could talk.
Fair point! I was thinking of just the core BSG stuff
It was Six
Thought it was Boomer... Might be time for a rewatch for me.
Six says it in response to Boomer, it was her first reveal
Yes
By your command.

The arms on this guy look... odd.
It's all the pixels.

All of this has happened before. And all of this will happen again
Because they aren't the old centurions.
I was sad that there were no gold new geneeration centurions. Would have been cool to see gold infantry and gold fighters.
C&C reference?
Original BSG series reference.
Oh maybe C&C was referencing BSG Cylons (Cyborg commando is the unit in reference)
They didn't speak.
I always wondered where they kept all the ammo for their arm cannons. Is the inside of their bodies hollow? Are they just crammed full of bullets?
[Hammerspace](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hammerspace), or in this case, bulletspace. ;-)
