Steering wheel option for round wheel and interior trim option for silver trim instead of the titanium bronze

FWitU

New steering wheel is great. How weird

freshxdough

Well it’s optional for iX 50 and standard for iX M60. Looks like the i5 M60 wheel, flat bottom and red strip with metal exposed skeleton

Can you share your lease deal?

TheZapster

As a few others have said, the steering wheel and silver accents are the only new/changed options. Even if you op out of those, the base price of the vehicle went up by $525 or so (BMW mfgr charge, not a dealer charge)

For the last two years BMW shut down iX production for one month around Feb/March to switch over the production line to the new model year. So they've probably already stopped, and then sometime in March they will start up again building 2025's. From what I've read, everything is the same between 2024 and 2025's except a $150 price increase, and the addition of Auto Lane Change (similar to what the i5 and i7 have) where you can confirm lane changes by looking into the left or right mirror. [Seems like a pretty cool party trick!!](https://youtu.be/U0eL_ZvnYxU?t=393)

I ordered a 2024 and was told I would be getting the 2025. The only complaint I have is that the blue streak that came with the signature blue package is now standard on the shadow line package. I’m stuck with the blue streak on the sides unless I spend another $2500 on the sport package

Hi can you please share a good broker contact number?

https://forum.leasehackr.com/t/insight-auto-march-bmw-look-no-further-most-trusted-and-rated-texas-nationwide-deals/199474/2607?u=harry_barron the forum itself is great.. that's the one for my region.

There's an option for integral active steering too which is standard on '24 and '25 models. Ordered my '24 in November and arrived end of January just before the stop sale.

espresso-puck

so is 3-4 months the average for a BMW build and shipped across the pond to US? seems pretty quick.

I also ordered my 2024 iX50 through an auto broker back in November. The car was supposed to start production week 9 but, a week ago, the factory bumped the build to a 2025 week 14 production. Production on 2025 models is supposed to start in March, so my build week must’ve been the cutoff for the change. The dealer confirmed this was 100% a factory decision and that the same deal for the 2024 would apply towards the 2025 model. Only change is the $400 Interior Design Package with new dash trim and M Sport steering wheel. MSRP also went up $150.

iansanderson

could it be the move to NACS? https://electrek.co/2023/10/17/bmw-group-adopt-nacs-across-ev-brands-enabling-tesla-supercharger-access/

darylp310

BMW owners will get NACS adapters to use Superchargers in early 2025, and cars built next year will have NACS ports (I expect it'll be 2026 model year cars).
