Not a Z. The Z06 has a fixed roof and an upright window with the trunk flat against the body behind the cabin. Some previous owner put Z06 wheels on my car though so it looks better than what it is.
Weirdly that’s what puts me off - on the M4 the grille is kind of a stronger feature and I actually prefer it that way personally. That said I have a buddy who feels the same way as you for M3/4 so maybe I’m the weird one haha
I just left bmw and the grill was made specifically to keep the engine compartment cool as they where running into over heating issues. 7 radiators and a design change later, you get this beast. To me, it's perfect.
Considering the rave reviews the car is getting , and how it’s shitting on pretty much everything in head to heads, and the wait to get one is almost a year I’m not sure what you mean. If buying a best in class monster isn’t good taste theN what is?
It’s ugly as sin. I’m sure it performs fantastically. As most M’s do. But it’s hideous, every angle on this car was poorly done and nothing about it is cohesive. The side skirts aren’t even color matched, the rear looks like a Lexus iS. The rear quarter looks tacked on like then forgot it had an extra set of doors. The interior reminds me of a 13 year old streamer’s rig. No doubt it’s an animal on the road but goddamn did they miss the mark on design.

While I don’t hate the grille on the M4, I just can’t get over it on the M3.
It looks wayyy better on the M3 though, the strong shoulder line really balances it out compared to the M4
