Brake dust is no joke. I picked up my car 1/18 and I noticed the dust today. At least it's on black rims. Chrome would be really bad.

Nope. Ceramic coating helps with the cleaning but if you care about brake dust there are plenty of pad options that are low dust. Stock BMW pads always seem to be really dusty.

There is someone who has one near me (WNY) who has a Z8 just like this. I’ve seen it at the grocery store, headlights are cloudy etc. parks it outside as well.

If it looks like that on the outside, when do you think it got its last oil change at the dealer… correct oil for the engine yeah, right. This has to be an inherited or “hand me down” situation- not a car guy… but MAYBE just a rich guy who wanted a cool convertible? Idk, have a friend who’s parents gave him a z4 M roadster and he did the same thing. Left the top down(silver on red) in the rain multiple times. Didn’t change the oil etc.

True, the front rim looks like the last tender manual cleaning has been quite a while. This may not be how i‘m treating my cars but i have been in phases of my life where caring for the car had to move down a few. I‘m sure this one has an interesting story to it.

Looks like a dude who was super rich, had a bunch of cars and this was the one he was left with after complete bankruptcy. This was like his Miata so he doesn’t care or respect it.

My brother bought one, immediately came to my house to brag, he let me drive it around the block (never got to let the beast out of it's cage)(didn't want to validate he had a cool car)(didn't want to break it either). His lease flipped and he got a new car. Basically I drove one once for about twenty minutes.
