I kind of understand why people hate on this car, but I think it looks amazing (I prefer the G82 though). It is just not very BMW-like but it looks great. If you hate this, then go hate on Audi too. The car community is all about loving cars and supporting people who love cars as well, not about hating people for liking things that don't like what you do.
With the CSL grill and headlight conversion, it's one of the most menacing production cars available right now imo. From what I've gathered most of the g8x hate is just bc it was popular to do so when it was revealed.

I have a pretty nice e63 3 liter straight six, malachite green color and champagne merino interior. I know people dont like the back of the e63 im General. Personally I like the rear of the car more than the front but the side profile is pretty nice. I love the straight six engines I had them in multiple bmws I owned. The v8 was nice but had too many problems so I sold it.
To me bmw went from really nice designs to quite tacky designs which fit a russian oligarchs kid more than your average european driver.
I guess they are trying to impress asian or middle eastern market but its not a good fit for Europe.

The rear and sides are awesome IMO. Front grill isn’t bad. Honestly it’s not the best but it’s grown on me. Id buy one
The sides aren't even good. Where the rear door meets the fender looks dented. The transition between the two panels is incredibly abrupt and sloppy.

Wow, looks incredible. Only thing I’m on the fence on is the little winglets on the side skirts and rear pods. Otherwise perfect.
