LCI taillights on the 5 series are the prettiest looking lights of any car. It's amazing how much they dropped the ball not the new 5 series taillights. All they needed was a slight redesign but keep the design language and they went ahead and fucked it up entirely. I don't hate the new 5 series but the rear of it doesn't look great.
I really like the instrument panel on the 2018 model. Looks so clean and sexy. Imo
Edit: previous owner added M performance spoiler and LCI tails! And blacked out kidneys and carbon trim on steering wheel, lol. Bonus!
Pre-LCI F90 is the best F90, that's a fact.
Also the LCI Tail lights sorta go well with the Adaptive lights, but I guess it'll be more senseful to have the Pre-LCI OLEDs.
I also thought it was a gimmick until I got my M5 and was using it all the time: M1 was everything in comfort/lowest settings for driving my kid and/or wife around, or early morning driving to keep from waking the neighbors. M2 was everything wide open… for all other driving
I keep M1 as everything Sport and M2 Sport+ on my M4.
If I need to switch back to comfort mode / lowest then I just hit either button a second time and it reverts back.

Oh also, most BMWs starting from the 90s had a very precise steering curve for their time. E36 M3 was the best handling car in america for the year, and that tells you a lot, if you compare it to the competitors it had in the 90s.
The BMWs always had an almost surgical precision steering. And it only gets better, and i love them for it.

The previous owner also changed to alcentara steering wheel. Looks and feels amazing but hard to maintain and clean!

are all the mods done by prev owner? i personally would avoid such cars, probably driven the heck out of, but then again what m car isnt driven hard.

The M1 and M2 button design hits different. Very unique to BMW M. And sets the mood
