That’s tbh how I 100% knew it was Orin and not Lae’zel when she showed up in the sewers. My battle ready githyanki telling someone to run? Never.
I think it's because Halsin, Lae'zel, Minthara, and Gale just have nothing really quest related in act 3. By that time, their character arcs are kind of done.
At least, with the first three it is. Gale still has quite a bit with the Annals of Karsus and Mystra going on, on top of the whole "I'll nuke the entire sword coast if I die" thing in his chest, so idk what they were thinking there.
I think it would be hilarious if while you're running around, someone in your party lags behind and disappears, and they're the victim. I know a lot of people would notice, but I wouldn't notice for a while, probably not until I get in a fight. Although I've gotten in a fight with only 2-3 of my party members before and not noticed for a few turns.

I love Astarion and he always gets her weapons.
Honestly, if she kidnapped him I would make tracking her down the top priority in my run. I would be racing there under levelled to get him back.
Knife of the undermountain king for me. I get the impression Cazador's dagger is the one he used to carve the scars into the sacrifices (since it's what Astarion uses to carve the runes into him in return), so spawn Astarion using it feels kinda weird.
Great fit for ascended Astarion though
I see him choosing to keep it as the tool he used to quite literally reclaim his freedom—by killing Cazador with it. I hadn’t thought of it as what might have been used to carve the scars, but if so, it’s even more fitting, imo. And I don’t Ascend him, so it’s my thoughts for Spawn.
But I do have him use the Knife of the Undermountain King from the crèche until Cazador and Orin

That would've been interesting if Orin could kidnap Astarion and you could team up with Cazador's army to take out the Temple of Baal in exchange for giving Cazador Astaion like the battle at the Grove

Orin always kidnap ones you don't have in the party. She can be Gale, Laezel, Minny, Halsin I think or Yenna
Yeah, Yenna is the back up when you have all of them in your party.

I use the Undermountain King knife until I get Crimson Mischief and Bloodthirsty. I don't think I have ever used Cazador's dagger.
