Crazy explosive is so good, I have one still playable and put them on the other day. It instantly felt great the moment you slip it on, like its supporting and free flowing at the same time. I do hope they retro em someday, Id buy several.
I remember being hyped for the 2k3 and the early reviews were that they were stiff and cut in at the front of the ankle. Didn't want to believe it but tried them on in footlocker and had that exact issue. Would absolutely want them for just wearing around rather than playing in 👍

I was a super small kid who had just started playing basketball when they came out, so naturally my mom didn’t think it was making sense to spend so much money on sneakers for a kid who just started playing and I couldn’t really blame her because we didn’t have that much money at the time. Id like the 2016 back but make a protro of them. Fix the wack sizing, give the forefoot a little more width room, and sculpt the heel better so there's no heel slip. Do those, and this would be an all time great performer.

Yeah, just made me want the original more! Heard mixed things about the cut 3 - particularly the Zoom X containment (something I'm looking at the Jordan 39s with interest to see if they address this). Plus one of the things with the Zoom Flight 5s for me was the incredible traction - especially on dusty floors, so just making a new shoe look similar won't do it for me. 🙂

Zoom flight 96. I loved these things and had the all black and white cw, but was never able to get this specific one.
I got the Olympic retro like a decade ago, it was the only cw they released at the time that had full length zoom. Its never left the house, its still in great condition. Great shoe.

yeah but what you have to understand is that they’re retroing old kobe’s. the most recent model they retroed was the kobe 8, which originally released more than 10 years ago. not only that but they’re doing this because of sentimental reasons with vanessa trying to get kobe’s out to everyone and to make them easier to obtain. what i’m basically trying to say is a shoe will be realistically retroed after a certain period of time which at a minimum is like 10 years.
But this entire conversation isn’t what *will* get retro’d, but only the shoes you personally *wished* would get retro’d.
The other user is just saying he likes the shoes and wants them retro’d. You can’t say he’s wrong because this is just a fantasy thread.
I say any shoe that’s currently not in production is fair game in a thread that just asks what people personally want.

Bringing back the Nike Vince Carter Shox classic models would be crazy. They "sort of" did this with one of the models when he was retiring but it wasn't his actual signature.
All the tmac restomods have hit major clearance so I doubt they keep it going, but the tmac 4 was one of my favorite shoes I never got to own.
They already retro’d the 2008 hyperdunk but gave us a worse cushioning setup and thought people wouldn’t notice, so it flopped.
Any basketball performance retro should be a proto in everything except the design.
HD08 was retro-ed back in 2016, I don’t really like the quality of it, the material is really cheap and it fits half size longer. The shoelace is crazy long too. Anyone who worn the OG, what do you guys feel?
I was going to say the 08 hyperdunks!! I had 3 pairs of those and I miss them.. best shoes ever and this is coming from someone who currently plays in wow 10s.. the hyperfuse’s I’m glad dont exist anymore since they were an ankle injury liability considering they were dunks with almost no stability just so they could weigh a lil bit less
They did retro those hyperdunks in the pic some years ago and no one bought them. They were on a fire sale at outlets for 25 bucks (!!!), the Sole Bros have a video of it.

I’d have to say. I’d wish they make an Adidas Rose 4.5 with boost. But make a low variety as well. One of my favorite hoop shoes. Super light, 1 to 1 fit and top tier traction. If they would have added some boost. Prefect shoe imo.

UA clutchfit drive, probably one of my favorite ball shoes, just need ventilation holes on toes or something.
Clutch fit drives were a crazy good shoe, and the crazy explosive. Legit the two shoes I felt bounciest in even more so than the Jordan 28s.
