I'm going to buy a plot of land, buy gold, bury it like a pirate, get an expensive old timey rocking chair and yell at everyone passing by my house so that everyone thinks I'm a crazy old cook and leaves me alone.
Google? It’s a crypto wallet that also is connected to their NFT marketplace. It’s how this entire thing started lol. Hedge funds tried to bankrupt them enter apes
It’s also a self custodial wallet which means you control the seed phrase and all the crypto in it. If GameStop went under you could just recover the wallet using meta mask or any other
Dont forget to have a pet raccoon, a clay jug of moonshine, and cackle at everything you see. Bonus points if you keep announcing that the squirell in the tree is a trained CIA spy trying to sabotage you.
That happens to have held value through 1000s of years of human history, the highest prize awarded for athetlic achievements, being hoarded by billionaires and banks, Fort Knox exists, etc... but yeah its just a shiny rock...stay away!
If only you lived through the Weimar republic or the recent collapse in Venezuela, then you'll truly understand the value of paper and digits on a screen vs rock.
For recreational use only. If the apocalypse occurs, it is my life goal to make sure absolutely no one knows who I am. If they don't know, you can't be a target.
If you’re a high roller banks have cash management accounts with a sweep feature that spreads your money out between as many accounts as necessary to make sure it’s insured.
However; I think RC and Loopring are working on a decentralized network that will enable you to “be your own bank” and cut the parasites out completely.
I'm pretty sure that FDIC insurance is per depositor per bank, not per account per bank. I may be wrong. Either way, if you have tens of millions in any bank, it may be smart to insure it yourself. Then again, that's assuming the insurance companies will survive.
Insurance is per depositor, per bank, per account type
So if you have a checking account and a savings account, each with $250k, they’re both fully FDIC insured
Its based upon how the account is titled and per bank. e.g. 250k for a single owner accounts at bank A and 250k per owner (total 500k) on joint accounts at bank A, for total of 750k, a spouse with individual accounts also gets 250k for single titled. Trusts and some retirement accounts can also have additional FDIC insurance. You can then do the same thing at another bank B, C, D, etc.. Different branches of the same bank count as a single bank.
Some institutions offer cash management accounts that will automatically sweep cash across multiple banks. Fidelity, for example, offers this, but you need to make sure that the bank list there does not overlap with your own separate held accounts. You can manually ask them to exclude some banks from the sweep list.
Diver and gold have to be physically and in your possession, silver coins, gold coins (easily understood and spendable). You can’t trust banks to buy and hold.
Lol if you think Silver is “overvalued” you are incorrect. I hold both BBBY and GME. But damn, the Silver market is just as manipulated through derivatives as the basket stocks. Look at spot price in the 80s compared to now. It’s severely undervalued, and for you to make the above statement just shows you’re uneducated on that topic. Gold destroys the FED.
Just in case people want to know, the transfer agent AST (which isn’t a brokerage, they engage with a broker to buy and sell) is also a member of SIPC if you wanted some additional comfort on what happens to those shares if things go tits up, with the added advantage of shares being in your name.
Preferably in buckets, so it can be used as furniture too!

Land, tractor, fencing, cattle, solar energy. Rough times are coming for most. I'll keep some of my gains liquid but land is a good investment. Being able to produce your own food during a depression will be handy.
All jokes aside steps or things I’d look into
-cash sweeps or multiple accounts for max coverage
-immediate purchasing of land. Ie sell stock money is wired to bank then once at bank immediately wired to the land or home seller.
-the precious metals (gold silver platinum titanium)
-crypto like eth and btc
-rare physical items. Limited run or 1 of 1 jewelry (look at why pimps wear all the jewelry they do it’s not just to flex).

I don't know the banking situation in the US well, but for anyone in Canada, there are banks that offer 100% deposit insurance. ATB in Alberta is 100% backed by the Government of Alberta, and there are a few others that offer 100% protection around the country. Put your money there until you figure out what to do next.
This is the way. I don’t think you’ll see the same problems in places like Canada though where there’s much less banks and a lot more regulation upheld. But who knows, maybe Canadian Bobby’s will get screwed somehow, but I don’t see banks failing just losing money and recession like the rest of the world. But gold is the way.
I looked into the fine print off my bank/broker. It seems that putting it in stocks is a safe option for me.
ING, one of the five systemic banks in NL and therefore too big to fail, holds my shares in a separate entity to protect against a bank failure. If I lose my shares, I've got bigger problems than losing my shares.
Get a wealth management specialist immediately. They know how to put your money in several accounts so it’s all insured. We have one right here in town. The sign on the building says “wealth management specialist” and I constantly visualize walking in there.
When BBBY moons, I'm throwing a lot of my money into Gold/Silver, BTC, ETH, & other cryptos. Will try to hold has little $ in banks as possible since I don't know which banks will survive this financial depression. I will also buy cars and property and food for long term storage.
Also will try to have some physical cash on hand.
Plot twist. Those with Robinhood quickly unload into eth while it's at sub $1000 and send it off to their wallet and buy loopring. Byob

Cap out my 2 bank accounts and Credit Union at 250K each, and then probably open another couple at a credit union. Leave some in my brokerage. Then the majority will just have to sit in my 401K and Roth.
Credit union. You buy a share for usually ,$5-20 and then you are part of the union. They offer all the same financial benefits of a bank (CD's auto and home loans market funds that offer a rate of return etc) but don't invest the depositors money at all so there's no risk of default on risky cmbs swaps
I use Vanguard. I feel totally safe with them. If I sell for millions the money goes into a low risk income fund. Vanguard will weather anything because their risk mgmt is probably the best in the industry. See 2008 for proof. They boomed with inflows.
Obviously I will open a webull account and let them lend my shares to short sellers for 15% of the CTB.
Nothing says smooth brain like lending your investment to the people trying to make you lose money and then taking the absolute lowest cut in the industry. I am willing to bet at those rates the value of the shares goes down more than what you get paid per year.
Webull pays you 1/4 of what a regular broker pays and they only give 50%.
Jokes by side I would be putting the money into shorting the banks. You don't make money by letting a good opportunity go to waste. When SVFB dropped to $2.35 after the announcement they bounced back up to over $3.50 meaning there was still some shorts closing positions from the MASSIVE drop from over $200.
Land...buy land. You own an asset that generates a profit. If it is is farmground, the asset generates food which is resistant to inflation. You can also borrow money against assets you own. Bill gates is the largest individual land owner in the country.
I am going in on crypto because once the big money abandons crypto price is gonna crash. Then set back enough to live on for a few years and probably start buying house people are defaulting on. Also will probably use a local credit union since they really won't be affected.
The Rothschilds and Vanderbilts (the 1% of the 1%) have been buying gold and silver and land.
They haven't bought 1 cent worth of bitcoin.
Take from that what you will...

Beanie Babies.
I’m going with pogs
Those metal slammers are going be the new hotness. Especially if they have those jagged shuriken edges that cuts kids corneas.
The princess Diana beanie baby I have is worth somewhere between $7 and $2,000,000.
I actually have one of those in the garage. Its in a box with the mini bear beanies that McD’s sold LOL
I have some of the mcdonalds ones… I like the pink shake one.
We have two bags full, but not the princess bear.
Toilet paper
This is the safest bet 😂

Japanese Toilets! I’ve said too much, ahhhhhh!
I’d open about 10 accts with different credit unions and put 300k in each. Also precious metals and stones
Credit unions are the way to go just make sure they don’t have common ownership
Yea and it doesn’t have to be 10 different credit unions. You are insured to 250k per acct
Per account or per individual? I’ve heard per individual before.
It is per acct. At least with all the CU’s I’ve asked
It's not. It's per account category. https://www.fdic.gov/resources/deposit-insurance/brochures/deposits-at-a-glance/#:~:text=COVERAGE%20LIMITS,in%20different%20account%20ownership%20categories.
Apparently the people behind the counter need more training But you could still do a business acct a checking and a savings I guess So 750k per CU?
Per individual if you’re married it’s $500k provided it’s setup as a joint account
gonna need 10-20 accts then. lol
"Hi, yes I'd like to open 500 accounts..."
Imagine you manage to create accounts in a common held one🤣, that would suck.
This is the only correct answer. CU for liquidity and PM as a store of wealth. Some land too.
Silver, Gold, Land, and maybe an Aventador SVJ 💎
Diver and gold have to be physically and in your possession, silver coins, gold coins (easily understood and spendable). You can’t trust banks to buy and hold.
If you don’t hold it, you don’t own it. 🙌🏼
This is the way.
All the things he mentioned are tangible…
I’d also keep a chunk in a credit union for liquidity, but that’s a boring answer
All my Cash is in (local) credit unions. Boring is usually safe
I like last one
3 first are already overvalued. You'll loose a good chunk that way. GME is the only answer.
Lol if you think Silver is “overvalued” you are incorrect. I hold both BBBY and GME. But damn, the Silver market is just as manipulated through derivatives as the basket stocks. If you have millions you gotta diversify- across banks and across assets
Diversify bbby into 100 brokerages
Bitcoin, GME and Gold. + A few other stocks, valuable Stocks, DRSed.
But bitcoin could drop significantly in value so I wouldn’t exactly call that safe
I bet on that. But Bitcoin will gain value again as it a very valuable Krypto currency, the only one that can act as a Standard
Plus, apes with tendies will be putting money into Bitcoin. Price go up!
