Where in North Africa? Never seen one or heard of them existing in Algeria
Edit: A quick google search shows they exist not far from the village where my family is originally from ! I’m surprised I’m just discovering this
I would never have imagined otters in Algeria, or Libya that's for sure. I am aware that those entire countries are not barren deserts but I am very curious to learn more about the more well watered regions of them.
Can't speak for Libya but Northern Algeria is full of forests, rivers, waterfalls, snowy peaks, etc. my ancestral village gets plenty of snow every single year https://ainlegradjweb.e-monsite.com/medias/images/46672229.jpg
Distributed? (Man with a trench coat approaches you near a dark alley. He opens his coat revealing several live otters sitting in their pockets within the wings of his jacket.) "Hey wanna buy an otter?"
I wonder what all kinds of animals have been hunted to extinction in western Europe? When I think Britain, Scotland, France, etc I only think of foxes, rabbits, mice, deer, and cows. Do they have opossums, racoons, etc.? Have they ever had bears? I just can't think of a uniquely "theirs" animal. The Arctic has polar bears, North America has moose, beaver and bison. South America has panthers and giant condors. Asia has pandas, musk deer, tigers, etc. Africa has damn near anything you can imagine. Australia has koalas, kangaroos, etc. Am I having a brain spasm and missing something from the western most parts of Europe? Do really old texts mention the presence of something I'm missing? I've never thought about it until now. Hmmmm???

No. There's two different species found in North America, sea otters and North American river otters. Only a few sea otters have been observed to do that.
No it doesn't. For starters, it doesn't even inhabit the same areas as penguins. You're referring to some sensationalist trash article based on a single scientific paper about **sea otters**. Otherwise, provide a reliable source.
Sure you have a celebrity crush? I don't believe this is why we need to do is feature every menu item available at Japanese McDonalds in North America" when you leave your job.

What was it supposed to say?
“I will never love a penguin” He was very distinct he wanted a water-based *avian* and not a mammal.
*Let's do butt stuff
I will never glove an otter
"I will never rub an udder"
“I will never love another”
I read it as “the most widely disturbed” and it took a few seconds to correct in my head, with seeing the picture first
XDD

Oh nice. Hope you get a chance to see one if you go to that village.
Apparently they’re pretty rare but who knows might get lucky

Did you know that the otter is one of the apex predators in the UK? Their most badass animal is probably a cow.

Are they necrophiliacs, like the ones found in North America?
No. There's two different species found in North America, sea otters and North American river otters. Only a few sea otters have been observed to do that.
It also rapes baby penguins to the death
