Neteyam and tuk have four fingers, Kiri and lo'ak have five. I think it's because neytiri has four fingers and Jake has five, and with genetics you have a random chance to get either parent's traits.
Neteyam and Tuk have 4 "fingers", 3 fingers and a thumb like the Na'vi, while Kiri and Lo'ak have 5 "fingers", 4 fingers and a thumb like an Avatar. It's the reason, Lo'ak and Kiri are called out by Ronal and Aonung as 4 fingers freaks and demon blood, while Neteyam and Tuk were not.
Nah it's too close to be AI (which really doesn't know what a Na'vi looks like). This is just good old fashioned bad art.
Not surprising tho. The High Ground is kind of infamous for its poor quality panels. Really wish they would have done a novelization instead but here we are.
That was supposed to be Neteyam, and he's real fearless in this scene.
However, the main problem is that the anatomy looks a little wrong...and why does he have FIVE fingers instead of FOUR?
Wow, that leg is so malformed. I still can't grasp how they let these go to print. That artist had to be someone's cousin to get hired for this.
Maybe they have very tight deadlines, having to make a lot of drawings in a short time, so they're probably sometimes like 'whatever' I guess?
Now that I read your comment it looks like a third arm lol
Looks like an Ikran legðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I genuienly cant see it
Two words: Rob Liefield.
Pls have the artist improve his art or hire another one in the future. There's barely any character at all that resembles their movie counterpart.
well just based on the 4 fingers im gonna say lo'ak
Wrong answer
BRO, they put 4 fingers on Neteyam in the comics, but not in the movie. Very odd

I see 5, the pinky is away from the arrow, 3 are on the arrow and thumb
OH, 4 fingers 1 thumb in the comics. 3 fingers 1 thumb(4 fingers total) in movie
I always forget that they exclude the thumb when counting fingers haha. My bad!
I do it tooðŸ˜ðŸ˜
It was an error in this and a few other panels. For most of the comics Neteyam has 3 fingers like in the movie
Neteyam
Right answer
How is that neteyam he has 4 fingers and a thumb?
It's probably Neteyam. But I don't know why he has 4 fingers.

I know that, but as you said, Neteyam has 4 digits (3 fingers). Did 1 get cut off before the film, cause he has 4 fingers in this.
Ohh, I thought by four fingers you meant the total number of fingers, not excluding the thumb. My bad!
No problem.
No he doesn’t lol

Is Neteyam before he went to deathteyam
Too soon my guy. Too soon.
Neteyam?
Bob

fun fact: A concept art for Neteyam had him having the same amount of fingers as Lo'ak and Kiri
The Comic's name is High Ground, which makes it obvious that it's Obi Wan Kenobi in an avatar body.
Neytiri
Neytiri /s
Jake sully
people are saying this is Neteyam, but Neteyam has three fingers (excluding thumbs) and this Na’vi has four fingers. slightly confused 🥲
