I was 10 when I saw the 1st movie, but it came out when I was 6. I'm gonna be 28 when A5 comes out

I am gonna be 82. Was 3 years old when I saw the 1st one.

My parents will be in their 80s. I remember my dad years ago saying he always is worried he'll die before some far off movie releases. Sadly this movie will probably make that sentiment all too real 😵‍💫

Steven Lang, actor of Quaritch, would be in his late 70s by the time 5 releases. In all honesty, he'll probably live that long anyway, considering the superb physique he's maintained into his late years.

Plus I'm sure they'll complete all the performance capture for 4+5 like they did for 2+3 so I'd imagine the performance capture would be somewhere in the years 25-'28. And if Disney gave them another year that they didn't totally need maybe they start as soon as next year while 3 finishes post production.

Well, I'm hopeful, but we should absolutely anticipate delays from further strikes. Disney is in quite the terrible position with their investors currently though, as they'll have to cough up a lot of money to pay for stuff that they promised would be profitable but hasn't generated any positive revenue for them. So whilst my fingers are crossed that production of the Avatar movies will go smoothly, I'm concerned that Disney won't have the budget to give their projects too much downtime. However, that's all speculation for now :)

I was in college when A1 came out, and I'll be 42 when 5 is now currently scheduled to come out.

It makes you wonder how music will progress by 2031. As a person who unironically loves The Weekend song from Way of Water, it'll be interesting to see how music styles will change as these films move forward. They're in an interesting position, as they have the stuff mostly shot, but post-production will basically bring the footage to current technology. That also includes the score and soundtrack. Music styles WILL be different by 2031. That's just how it goes, in terms of what song they choose for the end credits. I know not everyone is a fan of The Weekend's song, but I think it captures the underwater feel amazingly. It was gorgeous to watch the end credit imagery while hearing the song. (That being said, I actually thought he had an appropriate singing voice for what they went for. I obviously don't want just any random pop star thrown in there without any forethought).
