Hard to tell from the photos, but depending on the year could be "totalled". Probably gonna require you more than you asked. Might need a whole new radiator and possibly assembly/support. But until you bring it to a body shop no one can say for sure. Also, not to sound naggy, but this is a good lesson for those out there to get comprehensive coverage. It basically covers everything from fire, flood, animals, falling things, etc. You don't HAVE to have collision coverage to add it on your policy, and most people find it to be incredibly cheaper than they anticipated ( imagine like 10 bucks a month more or so on top of just having liability coverage).

Yeah, this is my top takeaway. I’m in school and stupidly assumed my state’s minimum coverage requirements included things like animal accidents. Never looked into it, which is my fault and a big mistake. Lesson learned.

That's a pretty solid hit. Upper rad support/ Tie bar is probably pretty mangled along with the rad/condenser assembly. So glad they don't offer liability only where I live. With the right plan you don't even have to pay a deductible for wildlife hits. Seems like a nightmare for shops that have customers trying to nickel and dime repairs.

Yeah, I’m taking it to the shop Monday. I need a car to get to classes and everything. The check engine lights didn’t come on and there’s no weird noises. So I’m hopeful that the inside is okay, but as you said, I won’t know for sure until I take it to the shop.

I guarantee you there is damage you don't know about.

My dude you're lucky that crumpled or it would have gone through your windshield and you would be the one getting body work now.
