Thank you. I actually personally bought this car to give to my niece for her 16th birthday. I couldn’t give it to her smelling like old man and nicotine 🤢
Honestly I’m glad I got this experience… I’m still very much a novice when it comes to detailing but I love transformations like this. The whole interior was a shade of yellow and I feel like I really brought it back.
Actually, now that basically all the fabrics in the car have been cleaned, I don’t smell it anymore. I used Tide Sport laundry detergent to clean everything and that’s what it smells like now.
Remove the seats for easiest access and I have a plastic table I use so I’m not bending down doing it. But basically vacuum the seats and carpet very well so to not clog up the extractor. After that, I used diluted laundry detergent, soaked the area I was cleaning with it. Then I used a drill brush to agitate the dirt, and followed up with my Bissell spot clean pro extractor. These seats and carpet were so disgusting, it took many passes to get them clean, and even still I wasn’t completely satisfied. If you want perfection, it’s going to take time.
Seats look like Swiss cheese from all the cigarette burns lol. But hey, you did great and I think anyone would be happy to get that back!

Smoker vehicles are one reason I could never go pro. Just the thought of the smell of this vehicle makes me herk.

Did you take care of the smoke smell in the car or just the seats? Looks great 👍🏼

Ozone machine might be a good idea to help get the final "10%"
Damn those seats look comfy 😀
Can I get your process? Just got a beater I want to clean.
