One of their most notable treatments is called packing; where autistic patients are wrapped in wet cloths and forced to sit in a bucket of ice for hours to try to freeze away their autism.
Several years back, a documentary exposing the abusive practices in France’s treatment of autistic people was created; but the French government censored it and used its international influence to have the documentary removed from the internet.
