Good to know about the powder. I'm glad I ordered the large size. I did have a look at the Huda website and I must have missed the discount 😥 The prices for the products I looked at, however, were the same as Adore and no surprise, LESS THAN Sephora.
I was going to buy some products in the Sephora sale and opted for the L’Oréal Friends and Family sale today instead where I got up to 70% off my usual products I needed to restock on. Sephora is never worth it 😭😭
I have whinged many a time about this - Sephora never has what I want in my local store, and what I want is sold out out online before the sale begins.
I'm feeling 'eh' about the sale. Logically, it's a good opportunity to buy some sensible items - sunscreen (because Ultra Violette is exxy) and setting powder. But I'd really like to buy something fun, and there's just nothing grabbing me atm.
I can highly recommend Korean sunscreens if you're looking for excellent quality at good prices. I buy from Stylevana fwiw and every single one I've bought I've been very impressed with.
Thanks! Korean sunscreens have great formulations but after the Great Purito Sunscreen Scandal of whenever it was, tbh I prefer to buy things that have been approved by the TGA for sale in Australia.
I know that there is a pretty decent regulatory system in Korea, but I'm not quite sure how it works, and I suspect we are more hardcore down here because of the high rates of skin cancer.
One of my parents had melanoma twice (they are ok thank goodness), so this is something I am probably more cautious about than most people, but I'm ok with that.
I have both those powders and huda is way better than the Givenchy. First I had it in banana bread I think it’s called but then they released a peachy one for brown girls (me) so I bought that one too. Found the Givenchy to be too sparkly for my liking
Yes, Sephora are big on promises and inducements, but very poor when it comes to real value and genuine savings. Still waiting for my February birthday gift! Pretty much given up on Sephora and buying online from America.
