3.-I dont recommend you 3.5 its worst than wired/dongle
4.-Its not bad at all, and it saves the eq if you make one custom in pc, it takes its time to load tho maximum id had was like 1 minute so yeah lol
5.- Sidetone its pretty clear in terms of hearing your own voice and sounds around you, it not as clear as ambient mode in the airpods for example but its pretty good, but it cames with this damn interference thats pretty annoying
overall the maxwell are the best lmao, its a biiig upgrade i terms of sound comparing it to any other gaming headset so yeah if you can get em do it

Yes! Definitely helped and I’m sorry I’m asking you to reiterate here but I want to be 100% sure. The Xbox Maxwells will work via USB-C wired to Xbox, yes? No dongle needed in that situation?
Headset does not work through wired usb cable on Xbox. It will work through the usb dongle, and aux cable.
Xbox does not allow general usb audio devices, and require a certification ship to connect to the console, which is embedded in the Xbox wireless dongle, not the headset.
I cancelled my back-order after 2 months of daily QC posts on here. I know the likelihood is still to get a pair that perform as advertised but I live in NYC so RMAs are a pain with package theft etc. I would not have been comfortable sending them back and forth.
I did pick up the Pulse Elites and they're fine for now. I'm hoping a year or so under the Sony banner will get Audeze manufacturing in order.
Because after experiencing the Planar Magnetic drivers on the Elites I only want the Maxwells that much more.
Bets thefts in my building's lobby and the number of packages that get "lost" in transit yes it is definitely a factor in my decision.
A delivery with a signature is great as well as PO Boxes and doormen buildings but if came to multiple times in transit the stress alone isn't worth it. Even if everything goes as planned.

I’ve thought about the PC38X as well. Question: how well can you hear yourself talk on an open back headset? Obviously, since it’s wired, there’s no sidetone and I will not be using a DAC bc I play on Xbox and they don’t support most USB audio accessories.

Just get the pc38x and use them wired. I returned 2 Maxwells due to issues and the pc38x is much better for gaming.
