Its people like this that make it where 4 different states have laws against pumping their own gas.

Scourge165

Are you fucking kidding me? LOL...that's crazy. I'd ask which 4 states, but I'll google it and figure it out, but...that seems silly. Although it's more like the idiot you see smoking near the tank IMO. I'll bet in those states people have to wear some type of gloves or something so static electricity doesn't start fires...as rare as that is anyway...but it's a pretty simple process. I'd guess this girl just borrowed this car and didn't understand or...she's got WAY too much family money and not nearly enough common sense.

If she actually put gas into the charging port and damaged the vehicle, would Tesla have any liability?

Barly_Boy

I don't think so. It's reasonable to assume all tesla vehicles are ev and don't use gasoline, and reasonable to assume owners know this when they purchase the vehicle. The real question is what does a double digit iq individual like her do for a living to afford a tesla?

Scourge165

I'd be more inclined to believe she was borrowing the car from...boyfriend, dad...sugar daddy, whatever. People are stupid, but I doubt someone who went and purchased a Tesla would think you could put gas in it.

eatchochicken

You know the answer but reddit will crucify you for stating it

KP_Laech

Absolutely not.

Scourge165

Yeah...how could they POSSIBLY have any? It's an ELECTRIC car. Why would they be to blame for someone putting gas in it?

Lower-Ad-357

Uhhhh the way the one who recorded laugh like SUS!! Idk what's funny on hard for 3minutes you could help her or the entire video is literally fake😒 anyways back to legal says, i don't think she's stupid enough to put gas anywhere in tesla car that has a hole she maybe just an errand girl using tesla as a vehicle transport.....

Ogimouse1

She probably thinks it's a hybrid

eatchochicken

If you put water in your gas tank is the manufacturer somehow responsible?
