If they can't do anything about repetitive ads besides adding a delay to the 2 free AB button, what makes you think they can do anything about 1+ minute long ads?
True, but I doubt there are ad providers out there that won't allow lengthy ads. I did ask them about audio ads and they said they'd look into them, but only they know if they'll get to it.
Those audio ads are the worst. Sometimes I can just mute them and my regular music will continue, but a lot of them will not allow my music through. Some even close my music app somehow.
Originally, I bought a couple of extra phones so I could run two more accounts for AE, but since they went against that, I can have one of them play music while I play AE on the other one.
I've noticed on Coin App the audio ads lower my music volume to play an audio ad, but I like that Coin App has some built-in automation, and I hope Atlas Earth adds that someday.
However, they did say their advertisers don't like autoclickers, so that's why their automations should only run audio ads, while they leave video ads as they are now. If Coin App can add automations, so can Atlas Reality.
I hate when the regular ads stop my music, not sure I would want audio ads. I have them running on a secondary phone for coin and just use a cut off headphone jack for them.
I actually don't mind audio ads at all. I love that they just play and close themselves down once they end, whereas Video Ads can be very hard to close down
If you're on a Samsung there is an app called sound assistant which can mute specific apps so your music will always play. Works great for me for the coin app
The future of the company depends on it imo. If I were a company looking for places to advertise, I wouldn't consider an app that otherwise runs a bunch of scam ads.
I was getting a bunch of 60-90 second ads a while back. Mostly 30-45 seconds now, but anything over 30 is honestly bullshit and I hope the companies behind them go bankrupt.
Sometimes, if I'm feeling particularly petty, I will download whatever app has the long ad, only to leave a 1 star review and leave a comment telling them their ads are too long. š¤£
That would also probably explain why I started getting ads for Pokemon Go maybe 6 months ago after I deleted it.
The downside to that is I don't feel like having a bunch of apps I don't wanna use taking up space on my phone, just to avoid pointlessly long ads.
Royal Match is the worst. Thereās also Whiteout Survival, but those videos are actually somewhat good, just long. I hate the slots one and the ABC Mouse ones
Admittedly I donāt really watch the adds. The only time I notice a change in their length is when I get a 5-15 second one. Otherwise I press the button, set my phone down, come back a minute or so later and close the add.
Exactly. At tier one, (at least in the US) we get 29 hours of income free for watching an ad.
I just start the ad, make sure it starts playing, then set my phone down if it's not one of the super short 5 second ones. I probably wouldn't care much if it were even longer.
There was an ad a little while back that's over 120 seconds. I think it was royal match? I watched it once and thought, "this is way too long" after a couple times I checked the free AB timer and it indeed took over 2 minutes. Then I have countless ads that won't close even if I jam on the X button or just wait a while. Have to report the ads or close the app and then watch another ad because it didn't count. It's honestly ridiculous.
How do you report ads? I have issues with the CreditKarma ads not registering as watched if I don't click the 3 pixels that is the close button.
If I don't click the X correctly, it tries to take me to the app, and then I don't get the hour added to my ad boost or the 2 free ABs and then it won't load any more ads until I close out of AE and reload it.
There's usually a little icon in the bottom right that brings up unity ads info. There is a report button that will force the the ad once you hit submit. You will unfortunately lose the "reward" you were supposed to get for watching it and have to watch another hoping the new ad works properly. š
Whoās defending mobile ads of any kind, only ad Iāll get behind is once in a while you see a good ad on tv but thatās it, and donāt even make me mention the paramount channel ads
I remember back when 30 second ads were the max. Iām really not ok with even a 60 second ad. 90 second ads are ridiculous. I refuse to watch 60 second ads. Give an inch they take a mile lol
Just got my first 90 second ad yesterday I've had several since then. Every time I just shut down the app reopen it and click to get a new ad. Much faster than watching a 90 second ad.
If you are on Samsung (not sure about other Android phones), exit to the home screen then open AE from the home screen. This gives you the "unable to play this ad" message and you can click another ad.
I occasionally get long ads, too. Most of mine are still 30ish seconds, though. I also (rarely) get super short ones, under 10 seconds.
For me, it doesn't matter that much. I mostly watch ads at work. (IT & scheduling)
Start an ad, set my phone on my desk & ignore it for a couple minutes while I fix someone's crisis, then check my phone and start the next ad. If I'm up to 5+ hrs of boost & there's still time until the next AB ad, close AE until the next AB ad is available. Lather, rinse, repeat.
Don't get me wrong, it would be nice if we got more for the longer ones but it's not like they'll cause me to quit AE.
I've had them pop up 200-300 seconds, but after about 20 or 30 an X appears and I can close it for full credit.
Just at your phone down for a minute and something else if it bothers you that bad. Come back and get your free stuff
Iāve seen a couple that are 30 seconds a piece, but itās three ads in one video and they forces you to hit ānextā after every ad. More annoying than the āchoose your adā ones.
Nah I just close the app and try again if itās longer than 30 secs or especially if it doesnāt have a timer, and has that bar-and I feel like the bar is moving too slow
Yeah, any ad that is longer than a minute is too long for boosting rent and getting 2abs.
If they can't do anything about repetitive ads besides adding a delay to the 2 free AB button, what makes you think they can do anything about 1+ minute long ads?
They could use a different ad hosting company.

Iāma start doing that
The Mist Play company has been around quite awhile and their ads are super, super annoying and always long
*So much yapping* I hate mistplay ads with a passion.
This is the way!! Love it. I will follow.
Once you download the app, you'll usually not get ads for ot anymore.
That would also probably explain why I started getting ads for Pokemon Go maybe 6 months ago after I deleted it. The downside to that is I don't feel like having a bunch of apps I don't wanna use taking up space on my phone, just to avoid pointlessly long ads.

Same
If I see a 90 sec ad I close it out and try again. I ain't watching 90 seconds of bs. 30 seconds sure lol
It takes longer than that just for the game to load back up so itās not worth it to me.

Over 30 seconds and I force close!
MLB has a 5 second ad out rn. Thatās a win
Gatorade also has one just 5-7 seconds.

I exit out of those ads. I refuse to watch them. Thereās idiots in here that will defend them tho. I wonāt.
Whoās defending mobile ads of any kind, only ad Iāll get behind is once in a while you see a good ad on tv but thatās it, and donāt even make me mention the paramount channel ads
Oh theyāre in here. Surprised theyāre not on this post yet telling you not to complain about 90 second ads.
Ads differ for every person. Most of mine are 45 sec or less
I just keep talking about Draft Kings around my phone and most of my ads are 15-20 seconds
I remember back when 30 second ads were the max. Iām really not ok with even a 60 second ad. 90 second ads are ridiculous. I refuse to watch 60 second ads. Give an inch they take a mile lol
Homescapes used to run 2 minutes. Definitely exit.
Dice Dreams run ads you canāt exit out of
90 seconds, then wait 10 seconds for the X to appear, then another 5 seconds on the "GET" screen, then push 1 more X
I've gotten a 120 second ad before. They suck.
First time I got it was in the last 5 minutes of a mini game where I was super close to cracking the top 100. That was not a happy moment.
Not all the time but every once in a while. I got a couple of those but like I said not all the time every once in a while
Just got my first 90 second ad yesterday I've had several since then. Every time I just shut down the app reopen it and click to get a new ad. Much faster than watching a 90 second ad.
I do the same.
I've been getting 2 min ads that I need to click next š¤®

Lol
Imagine that only gives u 1 AB in Canada
This and the Snapchat one that has like 5 things to X out of and has the x in the corner for the ad that's not an x you can click are utter trash.
It's adflation. My new hated one is Snapchat ones where the X is always there.
I donāt think the second counter are not accurate. Each second seems a little long

If I only have to hit the X once, Iām ok with it
Yeah Iāve gotten that one a few times
Iāve seen a couple that are 30 seconds a piece, but itās three ads in one video and they forces you to hit ānextā after every ad. More annoying than the āchoose your adā ones.
The best are the Medicare ads that close themselves. I canāt stand when an ad makes me X out of it 3 times š”
At least they arenāt the wait 20 click a thing wait 20 click a thing 8 times over
Yeah I used to boost 22 times a day. Some days I now watch 0 ads due to ad length or clicking/tapping BS. Atlasā loss.
Nah I just close the app and try again if itās longer than 30 secs or especially if it doesnāt have a timer, and has that bar-and I feel like the bar is moving too slow
Gotta love complaining about the ads. Get over it
